Our garden is still white, has been over three weeks since the snow first came!
Tonight I plan to clear another shelf in my room.
Did quite a bit of baking yesterday, layered lemon cake (lemon sponge filled with lemon curd and topped with lemon drizzle icing) and a batch of buns. Cake all gone :O
Need to make tomorrow's pack lunch tonight as well
xx

Hope your OH and Noah are improving x
looks like its going to be another walk to work
DD1 is doing tea , I have a feeling she is using up a weeks worth of food  off to find out0 -
Afternoon all.
Thank you for the good wishes
I managed to get some sleep, and DD helped me to the shower, so feel a bit better.
We're going to get dinner sorted shortly.
I'm still achey, but not as much as earlier. I think the cold does have a lot to do with it.
At least DDs are old enough to amuse themselves. They invited their friends round to play on the wii, and they've just left.
No more snow here at the moment, although they did say we're in for a fair amount of it. Hopefully, they've predicted wrong though. I haven't been outdoors since last Monday and am starting to feel like I would like a bit of fresh air - well, as fresh as it can be, living in a cityThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. Noahspennilessmummy - where did you send off for that mag? I want it! Sounds like you had a horrible night - big hugs, I am sure you are exhausted . Poor Noah
Diva- best wishes to your friend
Halight - hope you feel better
Redruby - will keep my fingers crossed for you! Good luck tomoro, i am sure you can't wait
Csarina - what I do is type my response in an email, then copy and paste it over. Nothing worse than losing a post. AND good luck with the move and all, hopefully you will "settle" in this next home!

Well I have been reading some days, some not. I am in a bubble. Can't motivate myself to do anything . Because I am not doing anything, I can't sleep at night (plus the fact I'm a night owl), so am up stupidly late, and sleeping stupidly late . It's not good sleep though as I am waking at least every hour or so. Loaded with the cold - thought it was getting better but my throat is sore today so I am not sure.
Not been up to much OS I am afraid. Lazy mare. I have cheques to go in my bank account, a top to take back - but I just can't motivate myself into doing anything. I need a plan. I need to stop living in trackies and actually get dressed. :oAlso need to start shifting some weight as I've been stress eating with the whole redundancy thing (from novemeber probably!)
Still lurking though. I had a take away on Friday night as I couldn't motivate myself to cook *hate cooking when sick) - and had the remainders last night.:money:
Hmm, need to source something for dinner tonight. All this talk of roast dinners is getting to me! Arg!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

We had lots of snow on friday eve, but not much since. Just checked forecast and we're not forecast any more until thursday, but only light snow then... Which I guess is a good thing... But I want it to snow lots so our school shuts :P Haha x0 -
evening all,
Thanks for all the good wishes re the move, the snow and ice have started to melt a lot here, as long as it does not freeze too much tonight we should be ok, its me driving the 3.5 ton truck that is worring me the most.
Got loads done today, we have got all the boxes and huge bags into a van, which is parked outside, Hope it does not get nicked , beds dismantled, and stripped, we will sleep on the matresses tonight, with no sheets. Oh and I disconnected the dw and wm, and carried them into the conservatory (they were very heavy).
Just the big furniture to do tomorrow, and the few little bits left, sis and dd are responsible for hoovering, and cleaning.
Csarina, I am hopefully never moving again , mind you I suppose it would be easier with a removal company, unfortunatly we cannot afford one, good luck to you.
NPM, I hope noah feels better soon xx
I hope all the poorly ones feel better soon xx
went to my mums for a roast dinner, there is nothing like your mums roast, also took all my dirty bedding which she said she will wash and dry for me :T, I am lucky to have her.
Going to have a nice early night, up early tomorrow, have fun all xx0 -

Well my kitchen is mostly in my living room - we decided to put the dining table in here so we had a bit of a surface to put the Microwave toaster & kettle on. DD is currently on the 'bus' (which would look a lot like one dining chair in front of another to you) and playing the drums (banging on the microwave) and telling Dora (who has a face that smells like cherries) that she loves it here!
Nuts!
