Still not here. Phoned them AGAIN for the fifth time today and asked to speak to a manager. They wont let me. I asked to be transfered to head office, they can't. Phoned number on their website and the woman said the call has to be transferred as it for Home Access! Then got told order is down to Centreprise!??? It's not being delivered today, it's now going to be tomorrow, well theres a surprise!! All I can say is they are a flippin con. I wouldn't order with them, and in fact if the laptop arrives tomorrow (ha ha) I will send it back for a refund as they are so rubbish!

It's such a shame because my kids are aged between 9 and 13 but one is Autistic and so works around a 6/7 year old level so we would have made good use of the software they are offering. But having read the problems I have been put off them and I'm sure many others have too.

I didn't apply as I also assumed it was landline. It's a pity you cannot apply again but asking for whatever you didn't have before. But I did get a 3 dongle a while back for about £4 (Don't know if the offer has ended). I did put £10 on it and it lasted the month easily. It only gets eaten up if you are downloading lots of stuff but for browsing it is quite good.

i can totally understand your annoyance , what i would do now is if its not here tomorrow , i would call the becta home access and explain that they are messing you about , and you have read in an online forum your not the only one , state that becta reccomnded they were a good company but the customert service is diobolical , then say your thinking of going to citizens advice , and next time you actually speak to Bli say you have called the local newspaper to highlite this problem and to save other families going through this problem , and its there reputaion thats about to be ruined , no company likes to be named and shamed ....im wondering if they are taking the orders but cant suppy the goods straight away , but every order they take its profit for them so they are just taking the orders .... i was ready to place my order with them but me being the stubborn one that i am was quite miffed that they never returned my calls , then the attitude of the guy who eventually spoke to me who coul dnot get off the line quick enough when i said i wasnt placing an order i thought sod it ... im going to go with someone else

i was told that most the software that Bli was offering was free to download off the net anyway , it does make you think when they dont suppy you with it as a disc

URGENT comet warranty on you home access laptop DOES NOT cover ACIDENTAL DAMAGE if you have been mis sold an extended warranty contact them now it ONLY covers mechanical breakdown AND ISNT WORTH THE £150

those extra warrantys are a rip off anyway in my eyes , as all electrical items come with a standard 12 month warranty , they make it sound so good when selling it to you , i had one once after reading it fully and the small print i cancelled it straight away

I had a look about and I couldn't find it anywhere for free. Most were charging between £20 and £140, depending on the software. So in my case it would be worth the money....but not worth the hassle!

If anyone does know a site to download for free........legit of course.:money:

Looks good. I think the main thing with the BLi software is that it is the ones they use at school so children are familiar with them.
