Yes, that's the problem, but as there is only two choices with this particular deal, I think it's a case of going with the one that looks best on the coverage map tbh.

I was concerned people may be put off the 3 dongle when it may well work perfectly well for them iyswim?

I was quite concerned after reading some posts on here and considered TMobile even though I know the signal in this area is poor to say the least - I did wonder if even a poor service would be better than that appalling service from 3 that people talk about on here iyswim?

As it happens, it is great and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
Yes, when it works fine, it works fine.
If you've got a decent signal then you should be alright.
But using it on the move (they advertise it as "broadband on the move") was a very frustrating experience for me yesterday.
I was going through areas where the map showed it had coverage, and it didn't.
Basically from my perspective it doesn't do what it says on the tin.
  • Hi all, wondered if anyone could help.

I'm trying to set up a friends Samsung from XMA.

What on earth do you use as the password for the "parent" account?

I must have input just about every number on every bit of paper- the password she put on the form, AND every word in the English language- upper and lower case- twice!

We've managed to use the learner account, but obviously that's asking for the admin password for certain things.

Any help gratefully appreciated- the helpline is experiencing "higher than usual..blah blah"

The password is on page 13 of the user guide (xmahaadmin) :)

edit: then you can change it to one of your own

Well, it was on page 5 of the Misco manual and I did read it, but completely missed the password!

I rang the helpline and he asked if I'd read the manual to which I honestly replied yes! :o:o:o

He must have been dying to tell me I'm a plank but he was very nice! :rotfl:

Although I was also a tad confused and thought the Misco user account was the admin account, so the fun didn't stop there. :o
