Invited to Ex's wedding - Problem with fiancee

Why are you even asking if you should go.
I'm sure the bride would looooooooove a woman to attend , who just happens to have been rammed regularly by the groom previously

At last, some honesty from a bloke. Yes ladies, we "do" every attractive women we come across in our mind. The lady behind the counter at Boots, the girl in the next car putting on her lipstick and especially you if you are a close friend and we can smell your perfume, hear your voice. Make it even easier to "do" you the closer we are to you.
Not your fault ladies, just the nature of the beast. If a man has ever spent more than 2 mins talking to you he will have given you a good seeing to in his head (unless he is a blood relative).
I can totally believe you.
Unfortunately, ALL of the male friends (straight ones anyway) I've had in the past have either tried it on or expressed "feelings" for me at some point...
They soon gave up when they found out I wasn't single any more.
Took them a while, but they got the hint eventually.

Hubby will sternly refute that. If pushed he admits he once had a fantasy about the woman in the white dress in the first Indiana Jones film.
However, it's me all the time apparently. Bullsh*t, but lovely sweet bullsh*t!!!"carpe that diem"0 -
Hi,
Not read all the posts in the thread as to long, but just wanted to say, you and your ex are the ones in the wrong here and you and your ex alone should take the burden and blame. If the BTB does not want you there because of this then you and your ex should respect her decision regardless of family or mutual friends, sounds like you both have some making up to do and this is a good place to start for both of you (By the way those mutual friends you talk about by default will/should become her friends too once married if not before) seriously wish them luck and be on your way.0 -
If he is your friend - and I'm not sure a few e-mails and messenger make someone a friend, I guess that depends how far apart you live etc - then you will avoid causing him any hassle with the difficult woman that he has chosen to be with.
If events are as you suggest, they will be married for a short time and then he'll be back crying on your shoulder.
I wouldn't go to a female friends wedding if the groom didn't like me and asked me not to be there.
The OP has explained that she and the groom-to-be have been friends since they were 5 years old.
Her parents and his parents are friends.
I don't see how you can call the bride-to-be 'difficult'.
Have you read the whole thread?
Maybe you wouldn't go to a female friend's wedding if the groom didn't like you and asked you not to be there.
The issue here is not (as I read it) that the bride doesn't (or at least DIDN'T) like the OP,
From what I can gather, she was welcome UNTIL she was caught out exchanging suggestive messages and making silly jokes, some of them with sexual innuendos (the OP's words, not mine) with him.
So it's not a simple case of dislike.0
