I have a copy of the link for REMO and will take a look at it in more detail, although it is very confusing!

At first glance it would appear that the countries he lives and works, are exempt from that jurisdiction.

But I'll wait and see what the response is from the lawyer again next week and if she doesn't seem to know anything about REMO, I'll mention it to her, but as you rightly say, it may be that she's out of her depth.

    Hi

You said that OH is paid through the US? In which case most states are covered by REMO. Although that might not stop him trying to move his payment system to another country?

With respect to whether he is married or has a fiancee, if the children are his and both parties in the couple are in Dubai, I think they would be in serious trouble. the same would apply for most other countryies in the Middle-east.

    Morning Greener Grass

He's been emailing all this information to my "friend"

Yes, it's quite unbelievable, maybe he can't remember what he's said from one minute to the next, who knows! lol

Hi Sally, Who is he saying this to? Your lawyer or your friend? He really is unbelieveable. It shocks you how many lies people tell at times doesn't it

Have been following this and just wanted to say I hope you get it sorted. Seems like a nice man - not. One good thing - at least you're not still with him. Some other poor woman has got the hassle as far as that is concerned! Your children seem like they are mature and well brought up (thanks to you) so you're obviously doing something right. (hope that wasn't patronising, soz)
Can't believe how some people get away with things. Geez. good luck.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

    Hello RAS

Sorry, I missed your post earlier, thanks for taking time to reply.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he'll be paid via his company who are based in the USA, that was why the CSA said away at the beginning that it was outwith their jurisdiction and couldn't get involved.

Can I ask what you meant about them possibly being in trouble if they're both in Dubai, married or not?

    Thank you again.

Isitenough - that was really nice of you to post your reply too, thank you for doing that. Some people really are unbelievable, I know, and of course, you're right, I'm so glad I'm not still with him!

If he's married, he's in trouble cause its likely to be bigamous, if he's not married and the children are his, he's in trouble because the children were born out of wedlock. I don't suppose Sharia (very strict form of islamic/religious law) would approve too much lol

Looks as if you could get him into trouble if you wished. Must be tempting LOL

REMO applies to most states in the USA, so you could go for back -maintenance through REMO.

    Hi Daska

That makes very interesting reading, thank you again for that!

And yes, it's sooo tempting! lol

    Thanks RAS

I'll bring that REMO link to the attention of my lawyer, see what she says, although I would have thought she might have known about it :(

    Morning All

Found out this morning that his two little children, where he lives, both attend private school, and are taught to Oxford UK standards so that they get a good start in life (in his words) not mine,

I wonder what he's planning to do to ensure his other two in the UK have a good future, eh!

    He makes me so mad.
