Does anyone know how long it takes for the redemption code to be sent out?

I sent Smile a secure message to ask this and got the response that it would have been sent out by email on opening the account. If I don't have it, it was probably filtered as junk mail.

I have asked them to resend it but no joy yet. Has anyone else received their code for this time round?

    Did you get it sorted?

I just opened account and the required £1500 is being transfered into the account today.

Will they send me the wine voucher automatically or will I need to hassle them for it?

My £1500 hit my account today and will be out again tomorrow!

Anyone else gone for this and got the vouchers?

Read the T&C's below does this mean we have to wait until 31st October before requesting the code from Smile?

Not sure if that meets the T&C's for the offer - "Wine qualification upon first credit transaction of £1500 minimum".

I would suggest doing another single transaction of £1500 if you have the cash available...
  • i have just spoken to SMILE, who have informed me that i won't get my voucher for the wine until October and that all new account holders will get this at the same time. Given that they have just put up the monthly charge on this account, i'm not sure how good an offer this is

London Girl - Are you a Smile Bank employee? Just noticed you have only joined this forum today and this is your first posting....

If I am wrong I apologise, but it certainly looks suspicious…
  • No, i don't work for Smile - if i did, i wouldn't be putting down how unhappy i am - would I! i logged in because i had signed up due to Martin's email and wanted to put down what i had found so other people didn't do the same thing. Are you daft?!!
  • In fact, next time i find something useful, why should i bother to post it??!!

Come on, that's not the behaviour we like on here, a simple explanation would be fine, people do make genuine mistakes from time to time.

If you don't want to bother posting again that is fine, but why stress yourself out about it and post as such on here, life it way too short to let silly little things get to you.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
