There are no hidden extras,if you add luggage they charge you,if you add anything they charge you.
You see the TOTAL price at the end of your booking.
The idea of a prepaid card is to avoid RA charging you £5 each way for everyone on the booking.
If you spend £50 with Ryanair and pay for it with a prepaid card (fairfx)it`ll only cost you 75p

Not true! Ryanair charged me for using a Fairfax Prepaid card only 2 weeks ago at the standard card rate & wont refund.

For the FairFX card, you need to factor in 3.4%/3.5% more than the cost of your flights/purchase as they make a pending charge to allow for any conversions, later once the money goes through the 2% is credited back to the card...

Also beware when booking ryanair flights using FairFX if your purchase is declined (as happened to me yesterday) then I had to reload another £50 minimum load.... even only for a few pence... when I tried to submit the payment again (by clicking on the TRY AGAIN button, it seemed to go through ok, I got my reservation number BUT it said NOT CONFIRMED (until you receive email itinerary) which never came!! also my card had not been charged.... I waited and waited, eventually I had
to phone ryanair customer service at 10p per minute
    , wait on hold for
ages only to speak to an argumentative customer service operator who
told me that my card was declined the 2nd time, I said no... it had gone
through and I was issued the flight reservation number, she said 'well
there's no booking on the system, something went wrong, you need to
restart from the beginning' (so clearly there are coding issues with the TRY AGAIN button!!) then she HUNG UP!!! I was furious as I thought
maybe I'd get double charged if I booked again... Anyway I closed ryanair website down in internet explorer, opened it again in mozilla and started the process again.. thankfully flight prices had not gone up in
price and the transaction went through fine...itinerary emailed almost
immediately and card charged. In the past I have ended up making
double bookings because of the ryanair's famous error 'SESSION IS
    LOCKED' but that's another story!

Next time that you need to call them, refer to Say no to 0870. Use a number from the Nifty List to call their Ireland number.
