  • Your post brought a tear to my eye..you've both done really well today...I really hope this is the turning point asyou both obviously want so much more for your family and life.

Keep chipping away and you will get there.

Have you done research about support groups for his condition? Maybe he needs a mentor who has a condition like him but still leads a happy succesful life?

    Good luck
this sounds like a good idea, i will definately look into it because im feeling he is worried about his future and that he wont be physically able to do the jobs hes interested in

Hiya I'm sorry but saying failed in the first few posts I don't agree with, as a mum the lady in question has no dought tried her best,
I have 5 sons 2 have ADHD and ASD and one is violent ages 12 and 13 the oyoungest has cerebal palsy and we have a gp apt today as 5 year old is query. ASD
I know how hard it can be at times and have suffered a breakdown due to lack of support earlier last year.

I would suggest seeing a social worker for advice on resbite not going away just afterschools or weekend campus holiday to give both of you a break from eachother

Feel free to pm me anytime
    Hope things are better soon
    Take care

Fantastic to hear Ladychelle you have done so much already.
Family action may be able to help anyone who is in a family going through difficulties. http://www.family-action.org.uk/They took my other kids out on trips/playschemes, activities and parties. So good when they were so used to the one with the 'additional needs' getting all the extra attention. best wishes and again well done I know how hard it all is, you are climbing a mountain but i tell you when the view is clear it will all be worth it :)
