fine families and relationships are worth fighting for, but i think the wife is nuts. this betrayal is an emotional bond with someone over a reasonably long period who was introduced to the kids. so many lines have been crossed. i may be very harsh, and have never been in that situation, but i can't even type the words i think are appropriate for this man! the idea that two women would even think of trying to salvage a relationship with him just completely mystifies me.

To be fair on the wife here it wasn't mentioned if they were even contemplating getting back to gether, just that the op's boyfriend had spent christmas with his wife and this has made him NOT want to be with the op anymore.;)

Can't change the goalposts now ems, this was never about moneysaving but you were happy enough to chat about it previously with the rest of us regardless.

I agree the thread should probably just die. I think what sympathy there was for the OP has abated somewhat now anyway.

really sorry to bump this up again, and to "out" myself for coming on again to see what is happening but really just wanted to tell BargainHunter that every time I watch or hear of BassHunter on CBB I think of her Hunting for Bargains of course, as opposed to a decent Bass! x
