I've been following the thread and I did wonder if you do have low self-esteem but on the other hand I wonder if you're just a bit younger? than the more older and cynical of us!

Trust me, most of us have been naive about men that we thought we loved and that we thought loved us, we made excuses to ourselves and our friends. But eventually there was a better future relationship down the road, because we're worth it :-)

    LOL indeed we are!
I thought maybe the OP was quite young too, but reading back, I'm sure she mentions she has a child of 15, so not a teenager........:p

He dumped her, she was "heartbroken" about 48 hours ago, huge debate, she's now "over him" and talking about next victim :p (tongue in cheek people)

Mmmm, except by saying that, you are though aren't you

Despair as I may over OP's actions, I genuinely do not regret or disagree with anything I posted, and am glad for my contribution, despite it bucking the trend.
Awwww, my ma would be so proud, me standing up against the majority defending someone that I thought needed defense!:rotfl::rotfl:

LOL - maybe it's the poor wifeys with husbands that keep their morals in their trousers that need defending - wasn't it only 24 hours ago that BH was heartbroken?

I genuinely think the OP has self esteem issues. I dont think she is now saying she wants someone else, its just her thoughts trying to rationalise how everything is going to be ok. It will never be ok until you realise you dont need anybody other than yourself to find happiness.

I think some people are being too hard here.

And I dont condone affairs at all. But she is hurting!!
