Indeed - there is still HOPEWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
I keep a diary of my weight and my calories and I just spotted the most curious thing - last year I started to gain weight almost to the day that I joined Facebook!!!!!
So why might his be? Do I spend too much time on my computer now or is FB so strangely stressful that it makes me eatI do have a very stressful family (always arguing and falling out) and they are all on FB, so maybe it's that......?

Did your calorie intake go up then or was it a cobination of eating more and exercising less due to being on computer.
I think half my problem is I am addicted to silly games like solitaire and freecell and can waste hours only moving my mouse :-(LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13

Looking at my diary - I started to over eatJust enough to gain weight, about 10 pounds (the 10 pounds I'd lost). So I ended the year flat. This year I have managed to stay flat too.
I like FB but it involves me having more contact with my family and whilst I love them, there is always someone falling out, so I am always walking on egg shells trying not to upset anyone and trying not to get involved in all the drama.
I need to find a better way to deal with this stress 'cos I do like FB.:oWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Hi guys
Weighed in yesterday and actually put on half a pound, so now I'm only 1.5/21. I think the problem was, I did batch cooking last week but only worked out calories after, and should have made two of the meals have one extra portion to get the calories about right! Also, haven't been able to walk at all this week as my knee has been really bad again instead of just bad as it has been for the last 13 weeks! Still heard nothing from physio thoughand I refuse to pay for private!!!
Hope everyone else has done better than me this week! Have a great bank holiday weekend all

I hope your knee improves soon, it's a downer when you want to be improving your fitness and your body lets you down (I've previously had groin strain from running that I had physio for and I currently have a bad back that's stopping me from doing aerobics!)
I haven't weighed in for a couple of weeks due to my back stopping play on the 30 day shred! I think the shred may have contributed to it - I don't have time to check my technique is correct as the workout is so fast and full on!
Will ease back in to exercise by trying out my Yogalates DVD and walking. Can anyone recommend any other workout DVD's to try? I noticed 'The Hour Of Power' DVD had some good reviews, might be better for me to work out for longer, and have time to check I'm doing the exercises correctly.0 -

I've had a bad back before as well - caused by a different instructor in the workout class I used to go to...couldn't believe the amount of pain it caused so I can thoroughly sympathise!:cool:I haven't weighed in for a couple of weeks due to my back stopping play on the 30 day shred! I like to take time and make sure I get the postures correct etc, it's worth it to avoid weeks of pain! :mad:Will ease back in to exercise by trying out my Yogalates DVD and walking. It's really cheesy but I got some Rosemary Conley DVDs cheaply off Amazon and her workouts are real traditional aerobics, which I love. I have these:
Rosemary Conley Triple Pack - £4.98 including shipping and it's 3 different DVDs
Rosemary Conley Slim and Salsacise - £2.99 including shipping, this one is reptitive but quite good fun and my god what a leg workout!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
