Things are still going to (the cunning) plan
I got a long walk in yesterday and kept to the calories required to lose weight.
I have also told my OH and family not to buy me any easter Chocolate - now THAT IS committment! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Excellent
You're doing so well!
Chocolate has been my downfall recently, I got a lot for my birthday & now with Easter coming...I'll have to make sure I do even more exercise to burn it all off!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

I've found the courage to weigh myself and take measurements, it's not good - I've put on 5lbs and gained inches where I didn't want them! Having decided I don't like the fact one pair of jeans are now too tight around the thigh area to walk in, I'm back on the healthy eating and exercise crusade!
Yesterday, I started the 30 day shred and today pretty much all muscles hurt! Think I will do this DVD three times a week and I'll be shredded in a few months! I've also got back into walking and for variety I have more exercise DVD's, an exercise bike and stepper thingy - planning to exercise a minimum of 4 times a week.0 -
I'm too scared to weigh myself these days as it never seems to change
Which is in some ways good I guess as at least I'm not gaining weight, but it's annoying I can't seem to lose anymore!
Let us know how the DVDs work for you, I bought an exercise DVD once but could not for the life of me keep up with it!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hi all
If it's not too late, could I join in? I have so much to lose...
Since 28 May 2010, I have put on... 21 pounds
I REALLY need to kick start losing weight on a budget and would love some support...
A little history on me:
I am 27 years old, 5'6" and currently 210 pounds (I'm so ashamed)
My highest weight was about 260 pounds when I was probably around 21 or 22.
My lowest weight was 164 pounds which i reached on 14 September 2007.
Lou, if you're still doing the spreadsheet can I please be added?
Reading through this thread - I couldn't read it all as it's huge! - but I couldn't work out if everyone is working to a date to lose their set amount, or just saying how much they want to lose and by when, and so on... can someone please let me know so I can work out a goal?
I'd like to start with 10% of my weight, which is 21 pounds.
Thanks in advance guys

Well done Elsie! That's brilliant. I weighed myself yesterday & was horrified, I've put on slightly again
I KNOW it's not fat though, it's muscle from all the exercise...but it's still depressing as I can't drop that 1 dress size I want to. Maybe I am just meant to be a size 12 forever now, & my size 10 days are long gone...
