Wel done you :T:T:TWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hello all!
I like to combine my 'debt-free' and 'lean and mean' ambitions using protein shakes.
It's £42.99 for a months supply (works out at £1.40/day), plus free CLA tablets on offer at the moment (woo-hoo!). I take two scoops every day for lunch alongside a normal healthy breakfast and dinner - and one cheat day a week (very important!).
I appreciate that this won't work for everyone, but it helps keep my body fat AND bank balance under control. I like to cycle it - two months on, one month off. Works a treat.AIM: Debt free by [STRIKE]Dec13[/STRIKE]/Apr14TOTAL: Jan12 [STRIKE]£30,000[/STRIKE]/£13,300 Mar13[STRIKE]AMEX[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£2,500[/STRIKE] Bank [STRIKE]£12,000[/STRIKE]/£8,500 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,000[/STRIKE]/£4,800 [STRIKE]Parents[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£8,500[/STRIKE]0 -
Hi guys I hope you don't mind but I'm gonna join you in your quest to lose weight.
I've done really well this week - sticking to 3 meals a day (with the exception of today - I had a bowl of fruit and 2 rich tea fingers).
I've also been for lots of walks with the pushchair, and been on the exercise bike 3 daysHoping to see some results when I weigh myself on Monday

Well done Fredula!!!I have a lot of weight to loose so i'm doing it 1 stone at a time
Today I bought a punnet of fruit instead of daily fruit saving money and keeping the chocolate/crisps cravings away.
Also instead of a full bar of chocolate for a treat I buy a kids bar only 100 calories like a finger or fudge/dairy milk wild life bar/small milky bar or a freddo the frog bar from cadburies.
Multi packs are a no no at the moment, as are packets of biscuits if I buy them I eat them.
Ate a pre made meal I batch cooked didn't particularly fancy eating it.
It is healthier than picking bits and pieces from the cupboard.
Glad I did as it means no more food waste. I need to eat what I have made.Tesco £4100.00
Argos £625.00
Payday Loans £200
British Gas £441.00
Overdraft £1260.000 -
Well hello everyone!!
I have been away for far too long so I thought I would pop back and see how the old MSE is plodding along.
Lots of changes have happened in my life recently resulting in a massive drop of income (halved to be precise) and an uncertain time ahead for me and my family.
weigh loss wise I have been trying the Tes co online diet by using £10 of my clubcard vouchers to buy 3 months subscription and it is going really well.
I still would like to lose at least another 8lbs for a big Birthday in Julyand a family holiday (thankfully paid for when we had 2 incomes).
Buying a new wardrobe is out of the quesiton so I will be slimming myself into my old eveningwear that hasnt fitted for a couple of years.
Dont think that I will be able to re-instate the orignal tracker as I am still working full time but will be interested to see how you all are getting on.
Signature duly updated and my weigh in day will be every Sunday........But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I'd like to join again too please.
Aiming for 2lb a week overall. Need to loose stones!
Good luck to everyone
