This morning BG said that this price decrease is on all tariffs it is not

Last year there was a decrease for standard tariff only. Missing many tariffs and this time its missed essential tariff again two years and still no decrease

As posted above non of the Web Saver tariffs are falling in fact new ones have increased slightly

What people should really be asking is why after gas prices have rose 60% in recent years, SOME are only getting a 7% cut and others are not even getting a cut.

Not ALL BG customers are getting a price reduction.

i.e. did the BBC news guy say "British Gas is cutting prices of it's standard tariff by 7%

I think it may also be in response to his question. Is it for new customers or existing customers too but I agree it's a poorly worded reponse! The website as always remains the best source of information.

I can understand price fixes tariffs not coming down but the rest should, so the interview this morning on BB breakfast was in accurate

Even MSE article states "British Gas (BG) has today cut the cost of standard gas tariffs by an average 7%, in a move which could spark an energy price war."
