I just caught the black and yellow running strap with this news on Sky News as I went to turn the telly off.
About time too! Deflation innit. We need more price cuts asap.BRITISH GAS will tomorrow slash gas bills for over ten million customers - as the deep freeze begins to END.
Sources tonight said Britain's biggest energy supplier will spark a new price war in the morning.
Gas rates will drop by up to SEVEN PER CENT - wiping around £56 off the annual gas bill.
Electricity prices will be left unchanged.
Industry experts have been calling for a cut for months given a 60 per cent plunge in wholesale energy costs last year.

The cut, which will extend to about 7.5 million households on British Gas’s standard tariff, follows steep falls in the wholesale price of gas since 2008 and is the first of its kind by one of the UK’s “big six” energy suppliers since 2007.
