I really feel like crying today and probably will before the day is out. This week just has not gone well and I am beginning to wonder why I bother.

DS2 wants me to make things with him this afternoon even though we already did toddler group today and we have to get DS1 from school in little over an hour. I have done nothing in the house, need to come up with some magic formula for the business as month end nearly here and I haven't made target yet and am simply exhausted.

DS3 is crashed out asleep and will wake hungry and then I will have to go to school and won't have time to feed him. Then we have to get DS1 to Beavers for 5pm.

Not even going to scream. Don't have the energy.

    :(

Hugs katskorner - we all have bad days but the important thing is to make sure you and the kids are all ok, the housework will still be there tomorrow.
Maybe you need to sit for a little bit with a warm drink and relax a little. Then take a look at what absolutely has to be done, meals etc then work thru them, let the other stuff go today.

thats similar to a quote on a desk tops thingy my friend bought me, - I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once!!

Its true some day simply managing not to slip backwards is an achievement that is greater than a weeks worth of great strides forward.

  • Big hugs Kidcat - hope your having a better day today.

Well I am just waiting for hubby to get home from airport as he has been working away this week. Can't wait to see him. I can not believe I have actually kept on top of the housework this week so I am now not dashing round to tidy up before he gets home. :T (Our bedroom is a tip but it can stay like that as we are changing the furniture round next week so I will sort it out then :D)

I have made some labels to put on the boxes I have sorted out to store stuff in the loft. I am labeling them up in nice plastic boxes so the stuff stays nice and we know exactly what is in each box. While I was doing that I printed out some price signs for books/videos etc for the carboot we are going to do next week. I have also sorted out labels etc ready to price all the stuff up and have some fab coloured stars to put on the big objects to get peoples attention! So hopefully we will make some money out of our junk :)

I am actually starting to get organised that I am scaring myself  lol!

And I feel good today cos I found a wrap maternity dress in the GAP maternity sale and it is so comfy!! So I feel dressed up in a dress but it has to be the most comfy and practical maternity item ever!! .. and it was cheap :D I never go in Gap but noticed a maternity sign in their window - so all you pregnant ladies go have a look :)

..Right I am now off to sort out some of ds's toys ready to move into his new room we are decorating next weekend :) It will clear some toys out of the living room (which looks like a creche :rotfl:) He currently has all his toys downstairs and only books in his room. I can not wait to move some of the toys upstairs!

Gosh, sorry for the long post!

Sounds like our living room, but I can't decide whether to keep the toys in the LR or move them to the boys' room. If they're in the LR then so are the kids, which means I can keep an eye on them, but if they're in their room, the kids are too... hmmm...

Lots to do next week (and find a house lol)

    To Do List

Tip Run - (Kitchen, thomas bag, old pushchair)
De-mould double pushchair - if ok, sell it.
    Wash sofa covers
Swap TV and VCR over (and clean behind them!)
Try to clear some of the garage...

Boys stayed at GPs' last night so me and bubs had a lie in until gone 9am! But I have spent the whole morning cleaning :A
