Afternoon,
me and DS are just chilling out together today. No jobs, hurrah! Also the washing machine has a leak somewhere behind it so I'm not putting more washing on, I shall get behind it and try and fix it, eek.
Watching The Simpsons Movie at the moment that I recorded for DS, he is entertained at least. And eating junk we got from the corner shop, yum yum.
And...it is snowing...again! But the gritters have been so the paths aren't slippery anymore
Hope you're all having a good day. I did my cupboards and freezer inventory this week and feel much more in control.

hey everyone,
i hope your days have been productive
not so much for me tho, we ended up taking the kids out to the moors to play in the snow, unfortunately where i live the only day we had any kind of snow was last wednesday ( we always seem to miss the severe weather) got home around 5.30, so sorted out the kids tea and have now put them to bed.
just having a couple of mins to myself then its off to sort out kids packed lunches for tomorrow, uniform & outfits for everyone to wear tomorrow, general tidy up of kitchen / living room, i may even attempt to sort out the dreaded coat/shoe cupboard but we will see on that one!
back to work properly tomorrow, (is it bad to hope that it really snows so i can't get in?? no chance of that here tho)
hop you all have a lovely evening
Can you see the mountains through the fog?0 -

So I'd like to ask questions about what me time others have, how they use it, there feelings on it and how we can get more of it lol x

Roxie - We are all here as a team to help, inspire and support each other so yes you can definatly do a topic!!
If you can type up the questions you want to ask (maybe try and copy the format of last weeks questions - i.e. make the title big so everyone can see it).
I will try and summarise the answers to the last one tomorrow!!
Today I have been quite organised despite feeling ill, I have managed to get up to date the 2 weeks of bookkeeping I had let slip, organised all the errands for it and done all the filing, I also emptied dishwasher, washed up and updated diary.
Tomorrow to do:
1. Phone vet and organised booster jab
2. update spending diary
3. create freezer and store cupboard list (thanks for the push ragz really needed doing! we want to run our stock down before move!)
4. do meal plan and create shopping list
5. write PAYE cheque and pay in post office
6. Buy 2 x 12 first class stamps
7. Evening - pick up bookkeeping (and cheque book if ready)
8. Spend half hour sorting 'that room' out
9. Organise, sort and declutter dining room ready for move.
10. get evenings meal ready before hubby gets home
Night all xx2024 - happy, healthy, quality over quantity, buy nothing new (and 2nd hand only if NEEDED), mindful spending, nurturing myself and family, living for now.
Mortgage @ 31/12/23 £248k - too high, interest rate gone up - want this down asap!
Debt @ 31/12/23 £16k - no interest - will clear over 5 years hopefully.
Emergency savings £4k - been ransacked over last year - needs attention :-(0 -
My ''me'' time would be...erm.. hold on and let me think when that would be

Well I am hoping once I have good routine going and I can get my baby to bed and asleep no later than 8pm - say an hour doing jobs after that, then the rest of the night is my me time.
I might be on here now but the washer is going, I have dishes steeping and I am yet to give her her last feed, then i'll have to make her another bottle up for tomorrow, hang the washing up and a quick going over the kitchen.
it's alot harder work than I thought it would be having a baby but worth it! I think it is important to not lose yourself though - I know I have, but I am in there somewheere and will appear again one day!50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:
