Mines doing exactly the same on a few items. They were all there last night when I checked my prices. I'm presuming its one of amazons glitches and will sort itself in a few hours.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500

Hello all, its been over a year since I have sold stuff on Amazon so am a little rusty. I have a book that is currently unavailable in the Hardback edition and the paperback lowest price is £62.50 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0713680172 ).
I get the concept of the match the price, not undercut it but in this situation I'm not sure what to price my book at!!! It is in Excellent used condition and is 1200g so not cheap to post. Any suggestions? TIALaughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
I might be tempted to go in high on that one as the whole series seems to be around the £50+ mark. There is another edition here
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Finches-Sparrows-Identification-Peter-Clement/dp/0691034249/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263329586&sr=1-6
But that is also expensive, but the ranking is poor so I would go in below that but higher than the paperback as a starting price. See how it goes, leave it for a couple of months and then maybe re check it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. When there is no image available is it possible to upload your own? Will it show in the search results? thanks:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad0

If you were a Pro Seller you could add a photo but not as a normal seller
I would remove something from Amazon if I was going to give it a try on eBay. Otherwise you could get a bid on ebay and have it sell on Amazon at the same timeNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Hi, I have been selling on amazon for about 5 years (I don't sell loads of books) but i have just received my first negative feedback. I see now that there are negative percentages for every 3 months of my sales in my feedback!!! Why has this happened I have never seen anything like this before.
Help please.
Also the person who left the negative feedback says i cancelled her order and did not let her know anything about it and she is furious. In fact as soon I emailed her twice as soon as i saw her order and explained that I had just sold this book on another site. i aplogised profusely and refunded her immediately. i have emailed her again and re-explained but got no reply.
Can i get this negative removed?
Oh my God it is all going wrong sob sob.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
It is very unlikely that Amazon will even consider removing the neg as they don't like the books being 'double listed'. Yes a lot of us do it but it is always a risk and we must anticipate a neg if it goes wrong.
Unfortunately this cancellation will also show on your seller metrics so you need to get some more sales under your belt to stop that harming you as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks everyone for all the information, I've just successfully listed my first book! I have a problem now selling more though, it keeps telling me that I need to update my credit card information on the "Charge Method" page. I don't have a credit card, but have never had any problems using Visa Debit instead. So I have entered the card details and my billing address, yet it keeps on taking me back to this page. Does anyone know if this is a glitch or I can only use a credit card to sign up for a seller account?
I'm very confused as it let me put my first book up for sale no problem!:j Ready to take control of my life! :j

There have been a lot of threads about this on the seller boards as it seems that Amazon now will only allow sellers with a credit card registered to sell. I am not sure I ever saw anyone resolve this problem.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
