There are others listed higher but mine took a year to sell at £60

    Well done!

  • I'm looking for some advice, I've sold 4 books in the past 9 days...which is really good! I never thought I could sell so many so quickly! However, none of these buyers have left me any feedback.

Do you think that it is rude of me to ask them for some feedback? I am a new seller, and I'm still in the 'Just Launched' catergory.

Each of those buyers will get an automated email from Amazon soon so you don't need to ask. They might not leave feedback even after that but its better not to send another email too

Most of us expect between 10-20% of people to leave feedback on Amazon, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  • Sold my first book!

Advertised last night, sold this morning (Posted by 2pm).

There was a rush to find packaging though, gee... i know you get 2 days, but id be fairly unhappy to wait forever (Plus a weekend gap).

I ended up using a previously used Mail Lite bag, used bubble wrap and some clingfilm (Just incase Mr Post Man drops it in a nice puddle in this weather - No doubt alot of them will fall over on the ice).

    Thanks for your help MSE.

2 others book nearly sold. Guess i better get down the £1 shop and find packaging materials.

Question: Would you be dissapointed/annoyed/disgusted to recieve an item in preused packaging??

I'm a newbie to Amazon selling, but I'm always pleased when I receive orders in preused packaging - I hate resources being wasted. As long as they are wrapped up well, I don't care what they come in :D

  • I've never bought a jiffy bag to use, all mine are used, so all I buy is parcel tape (haven't worked out how to get that for free yet :( )

I've sold 500ish things and no one has ever complained

I use brand new ones at work because its a business but at home I use recycled ones where I can and I also have some from Poundland as backup
