Selling Your Stuff on Amazon Part 13 - Advice for newbies in first two posts

We had a pending for 13 days and then cancelled - they seem to be like buses...none for ages and then 3 come along all at once

Totally fed up here, I asked customer services if they could release a book that had been pending for a week, and got the most rubbish of responses:

thank you for writing to us with your concern,

When an order is pending you can keep it as pending for 30 days then it will be cancelled automatically.

As you have the possibility to cancel the order you can go ahead and do it if you wish but then you can get a bad feedback from the buyer.

What I would advice you to do is contact the buyer to get an arrangement or at least make sure you can cancel this order without taking any risk for your feedback.

They really are useless sometimes aren't they! You get a different response from each person at CS too so even if you take their advice you have no back-up when something goes wrong.

Sales have been slow this week and last, perhaps a couple a day with 1700+ listings

mine are still coming in batches. 5 sold on Saturday after several days with no sales, then another 2 days with no sales and 3 sold yesterday.

It's under settings on your seller page, then seller account information, then at the bottom there is a button to downgrade.

My first month since selling on Amazon i have literally sold nothing

TBH the stock is wearing down and not so much listed now but right before it went quiet i was still selling a few a month - keep checking to see if they are still coming up. Its not taking up too much room so I am happy to leave it there - just miss those little SOLD emails
