I've had 3 of the 'do not dispatch' this week. Does anyone know how long Amazon will keep a book on hold for before they 'release' it back for sale. I've asked them but they didn't give me an answer.

Its a lot longer than it used to be! Seems to take between 10 days and two weeks now before a pending is cancelled and I'm not sure Amazon always relist. Its a bit of a mess so keep an eye on it - do you have pendings showing on your order page so you can see whats happening?

Don't be tempted to relist anyway in case you end up with two copies listed and both sell . It annoying though especially if its an expensive book and not avaiable to other buyers while pending.

It shows as pending on my order page, it hasn't gone down to the cancelled bit yet. But its been there for a while and I'd have thought if the buyer wanted it they would have paid for it by now.

Hi,I have been having a major sort out of books, thinking that as i have a couple of weeks off i could get some listed on amazon... started to look into how to do this.... (many thanks for the advice bit at start )

I may have a flaw in my plan :(

I have an IVA so dont have a credit card... only have a debit card (maestro) so does this mean I cant sell on amazon?

I am sorry if this been asked before

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Amazon do not appear to be accepting debit cards at all for a selling account. They say they do, but the past few posts about it here and on the selling boards have suggested that it is no longer possible.

You could try Greenmetropolis for cheaper books, but the sales are very thin over there.

Been very quiet for me this month - up until the last couple of days, when I have had a few sales, thank goodness - hope sales continue over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
