I have found Amazon very slow since Christmas and I'm going to have get rid of my pro status, which will make me work harder ;-(
Just don't forget to go through your books to make sure you take out any that will make a loss when you revert to normal status. That 86p can make all the difference between profit and loss with margins being so tight at the moment.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had an order today but then an urgent request that I send it to a non uk address and adjust the postage. I just cancelled the order and explained that I only post to UK addresses. Is this all i need to do? Will amazon ask why or anything?
Why dont they ask before they buy!!!:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad0 -

Yes it affects your seller metrics and buyer can still leave feedback.
It is usually better to contact CS and ask them to sort it out and get their agreement not to proceed and an assurance that they will remove any feedback if you take their advice to cancel.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. P'd right off. When I set up my sellers account a couple of weeks ago, I registered my credit card. Co-op have now cancelled it due to their responsible lending, do I now have to stop selling on Amazon? As I only have a debit card? I do somewhere have a prepaid Paypal one, does anyone know if that is acceptable to Amazon?
Thank you0 -
You may struggle with Amazon without a card it recognises as a credit card. I'm sure we did have someone else post that they had tried a pre paid card, but I just can't recall the outcome.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Reading the seller boards it seems that Amazon are not allowing any leeway re the volcano issue. There have been bits on threads where sellers are either selling from the far flung reaches of Scotland (where stuff is routinely sent down South by air) or even in the main bit of the UK where stuff can travel by air even within the UK. It appears that some sellers have contacted CS to ask if the delivery times will be extended because when buyers get to leave feedback they are given a small time frame and asked whether the item arrived by then, and in many cases this iwll not happen.
CS have apparently told them that they must then find a suitable alternative way of getting their stuff to the buyer as the delivery times will stand.
So I'm sitting here looking at a book that needs to get to The highlands and going
What makes it worse is that Amazon is so slow for me, that neutral I got is getting mroe and more prominent as th epositives i got before it fall off the months totals and no one else is leaving any feedback.
Can I panic yet please?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
