I lurve that dragon nuttybabe. No pain no gain luv! :D Still no crocheting from me. I will....I will!!!

That throw is superb artydoll. A real achievement!

To all of you worried that your stitches aren't quite right..........

It doesn't matter! :D My scarf is decidedly banana shaped where my chain was too tight (or my stitches were too loose) but I wear it anyway and no one has noticed but me!
So pick a project that is easy and go for it. When it's made bask in that feeling of success then post a piccy!:j

Good point - I bet I wouldn't notice it if someone else made it and I think I will get bored if I stay practising chains forever. :D I did manage some slip stitches last night so that was progress!

MrsTine, I looked in the main shop in town that does all the magazines - normally they have everything but couldn't get it there. The girl at the till suggested I try a newstand on the street and that's where I got mine. If you have something similar near you, they might have it as a lot of people don't think of trying there.

    hhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/46716225@N06/4290303985/

Its knitted on large needles with chunky wool and in "monkey stitch",dont know what the stitch is really called ,used to do it in school, such a long time ago, used to use string and make string bags or floor cloths.with it .
Its nice and lacy and quick for a scarf,

Greenpixey - can i be really cheeky and ask you for a pattern for a small pair of wings (as well as the large wings) if you have any please. I keep looking at my dragon thinking something isnt right and have decided he needs little baby wings.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, I loved the doll in the white dress you put on old style. She was amazing.

    Thanks

Sadly a lot of small shops like this have vanished from round here... Because we are so close to an outlet village it means we have a very odd town centre with... an ecclectic mix of shops! :D

I'll try tomorrow :) Is there a web site address for them in the magazine?
