Bearing in mind these items are for a child... exactly how well did you inspect them before handing your money over?
On the subject of COC, it's a payment choice... just because you didn't check your items thoroughly enough, why should everyone else have that choice removed?
I intend to sell two very heavy objects on eBay soon. I have to accept Paypal as them's the rules but if a buyer wants to collect rather than have me post them (as that will be expensive), then I'll offer an option to collect in person... provided they pay cash! The only other option is no collection at all. I can't/won't offer collection if paying via Paypal as I'll leave myself wide open to being scammed for INR...

Did you not read what i put about the pram? Only noticing the faults when i put the baby in it? NO clearly you did not.£10,000 in 2010 = £00 -

But the problem with the car seat was actually under the covers and underneath it and it was set in the base. But i was just a bit excited to be getting the pram i wanted to actually think someone would knowingly sell me something in quite bad condition.
You've just admitted you didn't inspect it properly, surely you must see that some of the responsibility lies with you?:j30/7/10:j

Exactly what is clever of me? It's simply a statement of fact.
And you missed the point of my comment... if I were trusting the comfort and safety of a child to something I was inspecting for purchase, I'd make real sure that I checked, double checked, got someone else to check etc. etc.
Clearly your desire for a bargain outweighs your concern for the child.
Good night. My wife is a DFW... I guess that means I'm along for the ride! :j

This just shows how little you understand how paypal and ebay work. If the item was not as described you could have easily got your money back.HunnyBunny wrote:No the pram seemed fine till i set baby in it, i noticed it was wonky, the brakes didnt stay on (this found out whilst using the pram outside), the wheels didnt always spin, but tbh i didnt actually run it around when i was inspecting it
Just because everyone doesn't agree with you and have pointed out where you were wrong you have thrown your toys out of your Pram (A very wonky one)0 -

All that would have happened was i would refuse to by the car seat (which he doesnt use anyway), but how would i notice the problems with the pram without having a baby to put in it?£10,000 in 2010 = £00 -

Good night.
How f*cking dare you accuse me of caring more for money that my sons safety. Can you not read properly? the problems with the pram were not noticible until a child was in it.£10,000 in 2010 = £00 -

So you admit yourself that you didn't inspect it properly I'm afraid you have no one to blame for yourself

Well it seems i didnt get my money back so you're wrong.
how very childish of you. ill say it again, the problems with the pram were only noticible when a child was in it.
This topic was to discuss the COC method, not my purchase.£10,000 in 2010 = £00
