  • I love a todo list! :D
I also like adding a few things that I've already done so I can cross them off straight away! How bad is that, cheating at todo lists!!

Didn't win euromillions last night so I'm still here. Boring.

Anyway off to buy a lotto ticket for tonight.

    Be good.

Think I have caught back on my PAD's. Not 100% sure. The lady from ebay didn't get back to me on Sat, so rightly or wrongly I've assumed that the earrings are OK and I've transferred the money to my accoount.

Also got a summary statement from HBOS today, OMG £540 in debit interest charges in 9 mths!!! What could I not have done with that money.....so MEGA MEGA shimmy on to get rid of that OD ASAP.

I also wrote off to Tesco to cancel my PPI. Felt like a wee girl running for the postman as he was emptying the postbox when I arrived. Oh the small things make me smile.

Looks like I'll be able to pay off a few hundred quid on 2 cards this month. That feels good, wish it was more though.

I think there is a free listing day/ no instertion charges day on ebay Thurs and Fri, got a couple of big items that I could list on those days and if I list them for 7 days they should end in time for most peoples pay days. At least that's the theory. Only time will tell!

So I'm off to list an item on Gumtree, it will take me ages but at least it's done.

    Till tmmw.

    Be good.

Listed my 2 items on gumtree last night. One has had 10 viewings and the other 50 on gumtree. One lady texted me last night at 12.25am to ask would I accept £50 for something I have listed at £180? Eh hello? Told her I'd take £150 and deliver it to her. Heard nothing since. Wonder was she on the go go juice?

Just done my PAD, so that's all good.

Apart from that not much else to tell. I need to update my signature, but I might do that tmmw when I can think straight.

    Till then.

  • Hi,

So the transfer of the money for the earrings on ebay.....she (the buyer) announced tonight that she still doesn't have an answer. I got really fed up and told her to go to ebay and paypal as she threatened 2 wks and 2 days ago. So the money that I transferred into my account looks like it will ne transferred back to paypal and held there till all resolved!! And she has said that the jewellery brand may hold onto the earrings if they are fake!!! So not only will I possibly be out of the money for the sale on ebay, but I might also be without earrings. Could this get any worse??

My new found positivity has now been lost. I wish this woman would just go away preferrably with the earrings that she bought. Like why threaten to report me to ebay and paypal and then not do anything about it? It doesn't make sense, if it was me I'd be bouncing from the walls and reporting it to all known authorities.

So rant over, but still mad. Silly woman, I just wish this buyer would do what she says when she says...is it too much to ask?

  • Hi Lexie
don't want to be the bearer of negative news but this all sounds a little dodgy to me. Why would hte shop hold onto the "fakes". Also like you say if you thought that they were fakes you'd be reporting her left right and centre. Sounds like a bit of a scam in that she gets her money back and gets to keep the ear rings.
Have you made her aware that you have the original receipt and that you can fight from your corner that they are fakes?
Was it a store in this country that she had gone to? COuld you threaten to contact the store in question and send them evidence that they are geniune. I think she'll start to back off then?

    Hi Sazzle,

I think you maybe onto something. The one thing I have in my favour is that from the start of this process I have been in contact with ebay about this matter. Last night I e-mailed again and asked them to offically look into this as I feel I am doing everything in my power to help her. I have even contacted Bulgari and told them of the situation. I did that again today and even came clean and admitted that I sold them on ebay etc. I stated the store in Vienna that she has taken these too. Bulgari have suggested that I contact Rome and also Vienna and make them aware of everything. I do have the original receipt and I also have the Airport in Turkey confirm that they do own this branch of Bulgari. God the hoops I am jumping through. Plus she still has not raised a case to ebay or paypal even after her threats last night. Why or why behave like that?? I have the money in my account after the transfer. It really annoys me that paypal and ebay won't let the seller raise a case against a buyer, as if this was the case I'd have done that on the 1st Feb when this all kicked off.

The buyer did remind me last night that she has 45 days to resolve the problem and she accidentally sent me an e-mail meant for another seller a few weeks ago with dodgy goings ons in it. I just want her to stop harassing me and do what she says she is going to do. She's annoyed me that much that I've done no ebay listings today and I'm off out tonight so there won't be any done later. Aaagggghhh I could scream. You know that feeling when you sell something and it feels too good to be true?? Well that's how I feel.

So back to day, got another cheque in the post for £96 so that's just been lodged, plus have just done my PAD. Very organised. Looks like this month I can pay £250 of a couple of CC each. Yay!!

I went to the movies on my own this afternoon, oddly enough to watch 'Up in the air'. Not sure if anyone else has seen it but it's all about this guy who keeps everyone at a distance and likes his life that way. Ironic really that I walked into a cinema on my own to watch a movie about some guy loving his life on his own.

It did make me sad though as I used to jet set for a living and I loved every minute of it. Loved living out of a suiutcase, travelling to various parts of the world and watching people in airports. Loved the familiarity of being on a certain airline and knowing that they did exactly what the said on the tin. I miss that lifestyle. I don't miss the people I worked with (well some of them I do) I certainly don't miss the politics at work nor do I miss working for someone, but I miss the lifestyle of always being away. I miss packing my case in 15 mins, being really pleased that I had the smallest case on the conveyor belt yet knowing that I had a hairdryer, straightners, make up bag, toiletries case and 2 or 3 changes of clothes in that case plus a couple of pairs of sandals. Incase you are wondering I have a trolley dolly case size case, you know the 55cm version.

I don't necessarily miss the money I earned, but I do miss that feeling of being in mid air and people going on their holidays looking at you and feeling sorry for you. I on the other hand was looking at them feeling sorry for them as in 2 or 3 wks their wee jaunt around the world was over, mine would carry on and I'd still be getting that buzz from hoping on and off planes, into and out of taxis, going to hotels and not knowing if it was as good as the last, or if they had a bedroom big enough to hold a banquet in.

I do want that lifestyle back, which conflicts with my desire to have more kids as you can't really do both, but maybe by the time I'm 40 and not had any more kids I'll do the jet set thing again.

I'm not whinging or feeling sorry for myself, I just needed to write things down. You know sort of help me make sense of it all. I might even go and start a blog as i might be putting too much of the wrong stuff in this diary.

Anyway, be good and I'll talk tmmw.

    Lots of Love,

    LL xx
