    Oh Eager Elephant,

Thank you for your kind words. I spoke to 2 colleagues today about the lecture I got yesterday re work and they are appalled and surprised. I'm off to the doctor tomorrow, I'm focusing on getting to see the GP tomorrow and start to get all chemical imbalances right again.

The last time I didn't know I was sick and left it so late that i was off work for months, this time I know it's happening and am determined not to let it happen again. So onwards and upwards.

I'll be back tomorrow to let you all know how I got on.

    Thanks.

Hope the GP visit goes well.

Like you say it is good when you can recognise the signs and get help as quickly as possible.

My DH is quite in tune with his body and every so many years he will say he needs to speak to his GP as he needs his medication upped as he feels so down and they do it. Then a year later it reduces as he needs them less and then another year later some crisis occurs (well what he sees as a crisis) so he gets them upped again.

It is quite a cycle but we are fine with it and just work with it.

Oh my goodness, I was last on here in May....where has time gone?

To be honest I have been diagnosed with Depression again, I am so tired and exhausted and have no desire to do anything. I started exercising again yesterday and I feel better today. Work is awful, horrific actually, I am having a hard time about everything which is apparently all my own doing. I have amazing colleagues that keep me on the straight and narrow and stop me tossing the head up and telling the boss that I think he is a spoilt brat.

I haven't told work I am sick again as I cannot cope with the whole drama that will ensue from it. I'm afraid if I tell them they will think that I am using it as an excuse to stop them ( work) yapping at me.

I'm off to bed ( again!! - I could sleep standing up).

    I'll be back tomorrow

    Night

    Hi....

It's been forever since I was last here...things have been mental busy. Work is shocking, but I am making huge changes there. I'm applying for a new job as it's now time to move on and take charge of life.

I also am trying to take control of my finances, I recently got a PPI reclaim from a credit card company, it was a lovely wee bonus and will pay off that credit card plus pay off another. It will then leave me with £7,300 of debt to pay. I've applied for a loan that I can pay off over 3 years. I am pretty certain it will be rejected, but at least I will have done something about it.

So that's me...I'll be back soon.

  • Might need to sit and have a think about things as I think I'm falling off the wagon. I'm planning to do that over the weekend and then start Monday.
