    Hi,

I have been away for ages, I had no power cord for my laptop and didn't have the money to pay for one, so had to wait until i did and now I am back online. So did the old ebay thing as well, got a few £££ which is not going towards debt repayments, but rather on living expenses this month. It's a pity really, but I need to live and it's not being wasted, so I can't complain too much really.

I have to get my car serviced and MOT'd and taxed as well....mental month.

Anyway, off to bed as I'm shattered and if I don't turn off my computer soon I'll be on it all night!

    Lots of love.

    Me xx

OMG it's only 110 days until the Olympics start, that means I should have been debt free in 110 days......should have....not going to happen.

But if I think about it logically, I didn't get into HUGE amounts of debts in a short period of time so I shouldn't expect to be debt free in a short period of time.

I also have another quandry, a friend is getting married in 8 wks and I don't have the money to travel to her wedding, it won't be a mad expensive affair, but for me it will cost a small fortune as I have to travel to her, I no longer live locally and I'll also have to get overnight accomodation.

I feel abit bad, but the MSE part of me is thinking ' that money could pay off my debt' and right now, being debt free is more important.

OK, I'm off to list a few things on ebay.

    Have a fabulous weekend MSE's.

    Talk soon.

    Hello, hello, hello,

I sound like yer woman from Father Ted.

Anyway lots of news, I've decided to jack in self employment and look for a job, hard task I know, but working outside it starting to take it's toll on my health, I've started getting lots of cold sores and I also think I've got a prolapse. Joyful, I'm off to the doctors in a fortnight to have it checked out and see what can be done.

So that is me for now, still skint but still smiling!! :)

Love you all loads and sending hugs too

Still here, still MSE 'ing and still searching for a job. One thing I do know is that 99 days from now I won't be debt free!! At least I am sure of that! :)

Hi, hope you got sorted at the doctors ok.

do you know not being debt free in 99 days is not the end of the world, you have made huge changes in your life financially and have cut your debt significantly, just think of what it could have been like if you didn't make the changes when you did. I think we all forget that side of the coin.
good luck with finding a job.

    Hey LT,

You always look ont he positive side of things and I love that.

So there is loads of news, I am totally skint, I honestly thought the world was against me until this afternoon, when I got a phone call asking me to go for an interview!! Yay...so pleased. Although I am now starting to feel physically sick as the interview is tomorrow and I haven't worked for anyone for years and what if I mess up the answers and they are thinking 'why did we ask this basket case for an interview?'

The closing date for the applications is tomorrow and they have called me today and asked me to come and see them, is that good or bad? If I get this job do I take it, or hold out for another job with a company that might offer more pay and more career opportunities? But then I am that skint that I actually can't afford to faff about and wait for more choices to appear. Plus I only want a job for a year or so, as once my daughter goes to Uni, I'm off to far away climates that are preferrably warmer than here!!

So I will pop back tomorrow and let you all know how I get on.

    Lots of Love

i'm not always so positive LL but i'm really trying (in so many ways lol ). sometimes it's the only thing which keeps me going on this road we're all travelling.
fingers crossed with the job interview tomorrow. If you get a good feeling about it and are offered it then take it even if you know you'll be looking again soon or moving onwards and upwards.
