Hi,
I'm here and skint. it's my own fault, I needed to get things and was banking on a PI cheque being sent when it was supposed to be. It hasn't and I'm fleeced. Also really down as a friend from school had a baby and I'm still single and still not able to afford a little un...

Hi,
I've been at this just over 3 years and I have now had enough....I need to be debt free...ASAP
So this will be my last Christmas in debt, Dec 2013 is my debt free day. It will be hard, really hard, I worked out that it will be £800 a month on debt, but it will be worth it, as that £800 a month will go towards my new life and my much longed for 2nd baby.
So that's it....
See you all next year ( well tomorrow!)
Mwah and here's to a good one

Tis me, I'm back.
So paid off my car loan...felt like a bit of a let down really? is that normal? I kept expecting flashing lights to be going off or a brass band to appear behind me to celebrate, but no, nothing exciting like that at all. Very very boring.
On the plus side, i now have an extra £300 a month and boy will that make a huge difference to paying my debt off. I reckon by the end of the year I will owe about £2500 to all creditors. Sounds like a lot, but compared to the £30K at my lightbulb moment it's short change really.
I am supposed to get a bonus, but alas no sign of that, think it may be a figment of the senior management teams imagination.
Hey ho...so I've a spreadsheet set up to record all spends...Hateful thing, but a necessity if I want a debt free life and more kids!!
Off to do some accounts work,

bad day...messed up this month and am properly skint.
Should set up direct debits for all cc's going forward...what you reckon? An idea perhaps? I think so, at least then I know they are paid etc.
Off to moan elsewhere.

OK, so worked at the weekend and now have enough money to pay credit cards...ridiculous!! Anyway, my desire to have a baby has gone up a gear, spent some time doing sums and working out how much I could get in WFTC for childcare...was pleasantly surprised. Makes the whole thing doeable. Now to be debt free for Christmas and start saving for 'operation baby'.
Right off to do the dishes and ironing.
love LL

I made a budget this month..I've just been paid and have made all monthly payments to all CC's ( 3 weeks early)!! Tomorrow I am going to the ATM and withdrawing my monthly money...then I have 4 accounts:
1 - fuel money for the month
2 - current account for spends ( shopping etc)
3 - current account for bills
4 - savings account (YES... A SAVINGS ACCOUNT!!)
I also save £50 a month via work, this is taken out of my salary after tax and Nat ins, so come November I have £500 for Christmas.
So, off to drool over my spreadsheet for the month.
Tmmw folks

Will this journey ever end??? it feels relentless and body consuming. I possibly am becoming depressed again about this ( was very sick a few years ago) or else am very hormonal. Plus my mother isn't helping.
On a positive, I did a huge clear out yesterday and have about 6 things to ebay, took photos etc yesterday and am about to list them today. Maybe I'll make a few ££, it would be nice if i did.
I had to spedn £500 quid on flights etc to my brothers wedding during the summertime....it's money I was using to pay off my OD and I feel annoyed that I had to spend it. Just means I have to work harder elsewhere to pay it off.
Will I be debt free by Christmas? I honestly don't believe so, and I need to be debt free, so I need a miracle, which just don't seem to be handed out right now.
Whilst tidying yesterday I found an old statement from Next with PPI on it, so I am off to investigate that as I took that Next account out while being a student, which I think means PPI is irrelevant.
