hugs LL sorry i wasn't arounds to give you hugs when you were in tears but i've been offline a couple of days. recruitment agencies always seem to be a menace, they just don't seem to care most of the time, and they certainly don't worry about how they hurt people with their manner etc.0

Hi,
I'm in better form, I think, plus mother nature rocked into town so all emotions should level off for a bit. Everything happens for a reason, so there is a reason for all off this just what is a bit unclear!!
Right I'm off.
See you all tomorrow and thanks for being there.

Hello,
Mental busy at the minute and off course I can't be bothered to do any work, you know when you were studying for exams and you did everything but study? Yip...I'm like that, which is why I am MSE'ing rather than working.
On a plus note I opened a savings account. Grand sum off £7 in it....whoo hoo get me. So that's £7 off 2012 Christmas fund.
Right I'm away.
Love and Hugs

Hi LexieLou
Just spent the last hour reading your diary and wanted to say well done. I have been struggling with debt for years, mostly ignoring my situation and getting into more debt in the process. Running my own business and having three kids to support has built up to mega stress that sometimes leads to depression. Having realised my debt problems it seems a life time away to get back in the black. Then there's the added uncertainty of the future!! It's been really refreshing to read your diary and applaud you for your efforts and sharing it here. I shall try to start tomorrow with a new outlook!0 -
Sebastiandavey can I let you into a wee secret? You're on the road to recovery. I remember years ago listening to Martin L talking to a girl on Jeremy Vine's radio 2 show and the amount of debt she was in. I was thinking 'poor girl' when I should have been thinking 'That's me'. I'm not sure if my debt levels would have been massively reduced had I had my light bulb moment then, but I can only assume that life has a plan for a reason and there is a reason why I am where I am.
So today for you is the start of a new day and what a fabulous journey you will be on, the highs and lows are amazing, a real test to the human character and the cyber friends you make on here are spectacular. You literally couldn't create better friends yourself. Have you started a diary? I find mine has gone from being a focus to reduce my debt to becoming an outlet for the horrific situation I am finding myself in. As you can see I use mine to write down all emotions. I'm sure some mental health expert somewhere is thinking 'OMG that girl needs serious help her emotions are all over the place and she probably should be sectioned and medicated' but I'm not and I'm here and my diary is my therapy and it's free therapy at that too!!
So find a few diarys that relate to you and you'll find yourself on the road to recovery before long. Good luck my love and stay in touch, we are all in this together.

Hi LexieLou
Kind supportive words thank you. Have been feeling really down today thinking about my debt problems. I started my business with such confidence and high hopes that it would bring me a better life, when in reality it has led to tons of stress for me and my poor wife! Life leads a merry old path and sometimes we take the wrong turning and with hind sight we now we should've taken a different path. But hey ho as you say we are where we are today and it's where we're going tomorrow which is what is important.
I have been really dumb and played the "try and get out of paying my CC's by default" trick and all it's brought me is more misery! Sometimes the debt feels like a life sentence and I look at my kids and all the things I want to do with them and for them is all screwed up in debt. There's a great book called F@*" it, which is a mentality and approach to life I'm trying to adopt so I can cope with the situation.
Will be checking in to get positive therapy once in a while.0 -
Ola,
Been missing for a while, just busy doing my tax return and studying for exams, All done now though, but I most certainly need to get myself back onto the work horse.
I have a few things listed on ebay, so hopefully some if not all of them will go on Sunday, while typing this I've just remembered I have more items in my cupboard that could go too!!
I met a friend yesterday for coffee, we are both as skint as each other, - which is nice compared to the friends who do have money and squander it and then moan abut being poor - anyway we were chatting about things and she very politely pointed out that if I want kids I really need to get a move on. Which she is right, my biological clock is not slowing down and I don't want to leave myself without any more children, that would break me altogether. But having said that if it's meant for you it won't pass you by either, you know. I mean without going all religious the Big Man in the Sky has a plan for us all.
I applied for another job, I'll hear in a few weeks if i've been lucky enough to have been shortlisted for an interview. I would so love a job right now as I think this is my only real way to pay off my debts in a year. Part off me laughs at the UK Govt owing £1tn and I owe £16k and am stressing, why do i worry so much when they owe so much more money than me. Bet their credit rating isn't messed up like ours!!
Right, off to do some work.
Pop back soon.
Lots of LOve
