You kill me man. Did a "ziggles" tee hee:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am total stalker- i google nd hunt anyone i hae a vague interest in- boys of course (and girls who are my sworn enemies:cool:)
Have you been in touch with the ex in all these years. I would get in touch and say you found him on ....oh hell what am i saying....- i really shouldn't be encouraging you;)- but if you promise not to 'mess' with him then just say you googled him and saw he lost his parents and take it from thre. I have old friends do this every once in a while and it is always nice that someone cares enough to say/acknowledge.
And yes people in their 40s do 'dump' their partners- all the time- more than i would expect as a fresh-faced 30-something!:p

mmmm not sure about the googling thing, you could always see if you can find him on facebook that's less freaky than googling someone (sorry but it's mega stalkery in my head )
I met Mr LT via the tinterweb, i made friends with his sister and BIL via a radio website and was chatting away with our BIL when he said his was talking to Mr LT i joked asking if he was single, which he was and we started talking that night, the rest is a whirlwind history. engaged within 3 months, married within 18 months :)

Oh Mrs LT what a gorgeous story. If I ever get around to getting married that is the way I will meet Mr Right, a whirlwind romance. I've always believed that.

So on to Mr Ex. I just called his landline number and left a voice mail asking him to call me. So the ball is firmly in his court.
I am just going to say that I heard from an old friend that his folks had passed away, and asked a few old acquaintances to make sure that the story was right, one very kindly gave me his land line number and that's how I've come to have it. I genuinely do have his business card somewhere but honestly can't be bothered to look for it. So I've eased my conscience by calling (so if and when he calls back I can pass on my condolences) and I've deleted all call records so I can't phone him when I'm full somenight and feeling V sorry for myself. If he wants to call me that's up to him.

Now for my Sister.....she cracks me up when it comes to Christmas Presents. She just doesn't get the idea that you don't go mental spending money. We all club together for my mum and dads present and also for each others, she just forgets to stop spending. So the £50 extra quid I had is not actually mine as it now has to be passed around to others.

Right rant over and off to do the Ironing. Yawn.....

  • Money....OMG there is never enough, just pulled my bedroom apart looking for the log book for car as it's going for MOT today. Thankfully I found it.

Now off for a quick bath and then off to the beauticians.

    Chat later.

    xx

OK, so major bit of news to tell you all. I was offered a job today, miles away from home.:j

I'm not taking it as I have other priorities at the min, but basically the job is ready and waiting for me come summer 2013. So fabulous there and something to look forward too. Now that's the news.

The really hard bit is I so want to tell MMM ( Mr Married Man) but I know I'm being daft, especially as I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks since I lost the plot about his lies. There are draw backs to speaking the truth and that rant would appear to be the draw back right at this very minute, mainly cos I've no-one who is getting as excited about this as me. Everyone is like 'Oh right that's great', where as he would be 'OMG that's amazing, tell me all about it, etc'. You know genuinely supportive and genuinely pleased and probably slightly envious that I am able to go back to doing what I love the most and travel the world, where as he is miserable with 4 kids and a 'boring' life.

So that's it. I suppose you could call it 'emotional cold turkey'. So do I hit the chocolate or walk the dog? or both even?

well we're here to listen to your news and to celebrate with you. and boy will we celebrate! Summer 2013 is forward planning! i could do with a job offer for about then as i think my unit will be under review about that time and i could be losing my job. It does scare me to think that way i have to admit, i have to try and ignore the thoughts though as i'm part of the team which works on the projects.
  • Oh that's a bit hard LT, you have to be focused on what you are doing, but also be thinking in the background about your own life. Ooooohh what to do? Maybe your team won't be reviewed the wrong way and you'll all be OK? Do you have an idea when the review will be starting? I would hate you to end up like me and looking at jobs and then leaving them aside. Then a month later having NO job and the previous flow of advertised jobs dies up!

there's not many jobs in my line round here to be honest, hasn't been for a while. we're not likely to be reviewed for at least another year, but unless i get moved off the team which isn't likely as i'm the only one in my team who can do the work i should know what's going on, i won't like it but i should know. we're combining with our equivalent of another company so there will be people going as they'll be too many of us in the end.
  • Hey lexie

  • OH Girls what are we like with our jobs, well jobs for you both, self employment for me.

I gave MMM the heave hoe today, he said and I quote ' it's a waste of your time' So I asked him if it was a waste of my time why had he hing around for the last 12 yrs...shoddy non explanatory answer was given. Some garbage about life being complicated and usually a mess. Eh hello? it's as complicated as you want it to be. Then I told him he actually wasn't good enough for me as I need a man with a back bone and he clearly doesn't have one. So there....all over and I got to say my piece. granted all by text, but at least then he can't pretend he didn't hear anything.

    Boys!!!

I'm off now to retype my CV from start to finish as the last one has become corrupted - story of my life!

    Loving you all girls.
