Day 1... where will it lead

Right, I'm getting a bit worried that I am becoming completely complacement at the min spending money
This wk spent so far £200 on new bedlinen. Old set was 15yrs old and when the bottom sheet had a hole in it I decided it needed replaced asap.
Spent today £83 on cosmetics. This I can justify as I have used up all of my important products, such as moisturiser and dyna spot. Like opened the container and scraped the remains out with a cotton bud. Due to a lack of good moisturiser my skin is all broken out and looks horrendous.
But on a good note, I am getting some money next week so i will replace the spends from my OD.
Just done my PAD and also paid myself. So all is good and on track. Off tmmw to pay Barclaycard and then on Monday CC4 comes out of Bank account, so all bills paid for this month.
Apart from that nothing else to report. So I shall sign off for now and chat tmmw.
Night

Haha...one day when i grow up (and sort out my money) I shall STOP buying cheap and nasty (well pretty enough but not beautiful) and buy quality. Can you imagine my answer to a desire for new linen is to dye the old stuff. Oh yeah and start treating my skin like it matters what i look like when i'm older....
yippeee for money coming in. You're doing well with the otehr totals so you can be a bit naughty....Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Thanks Ziggles, I actutally don't feel bad about spending the money as I know I'll be able to add it back in and the purchases were justified.
So just done my PAD, the huge spot I had has started to clear thanks to the wonderful Eve Lom Dynaspot. Expensive but worth it as it last for ages.
Looks like I might be able to get one of the items I have on gumtree sold. Which is nice as I was starting to panic that it wouldn't sell.
I've got a head cold and I know I'm whinging but I just feel awful. But I'm going to take the dogs for a walk and come home and make dinner.
So nothing else to report.
I'll be in bed tonight tucked up with a lemsip. Oh how I live life in the fast lane.
Till tmmw.

awww babe...hope you feel better soon soon.
i just spent the day in town listlessly wandering about...involved a big lunch by myself (with pudding) but failed to find a single clothing item to buy- imagine that. No money and nothing to buy...that like never happens.
On the bright side got a £2 for my stash and loads of £1 coins to make up for the awol PADs for February.Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi ziggles,
I love when you wander through town and can't find a single thing to buy especially when you are skint.
Isn't it really liberating having lunch with yourself and not feeling sad cos you're on your own, when everyone else has company with them and half the time you know that they have only brought company as they wanted an excuse to eat out and didn't have the bravery to do it alone.
So my love, I am away to pack my car for work tmmw and enjoy a date with a lemsip.
Night,

Just dropping in to say hi.
I have also been somewhat complacent with spending.
If I manage a NSD today then I've hit my 12 for the month but I seem to be making up for it on the other days!!!

I love it, it's so funny. That's so like something I would do! Brilliant. I don't mean that in a nasty way, i just love that I'm not the only one out there who aims for a NSD and then goes slightly mad on the spend allowed days. This is of course coming from me who managed the grand total of 1 in FEB!!£38,000 and change to £00 -
So, It's the end of Feb and tmmw is a new month!
My ebay auctions have just ended and I sold £145.39 worth. But when fees etc are removed I think it'll be around the £120 mark. So not too bad. It amazes me watching people bid on ebay, cos they nearly always end up bidding close to the original price and then with postage it comes very very close to original price ( I am talking about items that are New with Tags).
Anyway, thoughts on ebay over. Tmmw is mental for me, like there isn't 5 mins to breathe from 7.30 am to midnight tmmw
It is as follows:
7.40 am - school run
8.00 am - shop to buy postage supplies
9.00 am - car to be repaired
10.00 am - drop off an ebay purchase
10.30 am - head to an appointment (30 mins drive)
11.00 am - appointment for 1 hr
12.00 am - head to other side of county to collect items for possible gumtree purchase ( 1hrs drive)
2.00 pm - post items on way home
4.30 pm - head off to show lady gumtree items
5.30 pm - meet lady and potentially sell items
6.30 pm - head off to meeting at 8pm, this meeting is an hour and 30 mins drive away
8.00 pm - meeting
10.00pm - meeting finishes
10.30 pm - stop at garage to by coke and chocolate (dinner!)
11.00pm - home
11.15 pm - make up off
11.30 pm - into bed
12 midnight - might just be tired enough to sleep
So that's it, a mad day all round.
Tues on the other hand is empty, except I'm meeting a friend at 9.30 am for coffee, lodge money into scalifax, pay barclaycard ( still not done!), go and see mechanic about a matter totally unrelated to my car, buy a book token for friends son's birthday, and then post it and an as yet not bought birthday card. Do some reclaim letters, do PAD, make dinner and collect DD from late school finish. So maybe Tues is as bad as Monday. Help!!!
I'm getting tired now, so I'll go and take off my make up and head to bed. Might sleep tonight as I am taking ages to doze off at the min. Way too much racing through my brain and not being able to unwind.
Oh yes I also have to ring shop I bought laptop from as it's playing up.
Good night and here's to March 2010, what a great month it will be!

Wow! Tired just reading the list. Good luck with that. I often dread but love living the really busy days- makes me feel alive!
That's a great result on the ebay stuff. Must get finger out and look at up your income thread. Need to drastically reduce debt so i can move out of home and live a semi-sane life! :-)
Yaay to a good March i've got plans to lose weight and wake up earlier to do a bit of spiritual growth stuff. Not to mention curb the madness that happens on spend allowed days :-( yup sazzle and lexie its not just you! I even stoop so low as to not count cash spends with coins nicked from pig or coffee money as a spend day- towards end of month when things are getting desperate :-( yes i have no shame.
Night night have a great stress free day!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
I'm not even going to go into yesterday and todays goings on. Only thing I can say is that I started a spending diary today.
Also just done my PAD's and also lodged money into scalifax and paid barclaycard!
I also bought something on ebay, £31! OMG I thought I was supposed to be saving money, not spending it!
Anyway, I'll do a proper update tmmw, I'm shattered tonight.
Night.
