Been on abit of a downer the last few days, you know the whole, will I ever see the end of this mess thing that you feel. Decided this afternoon to activate my HBOS password and low and behold found £78 quid had been refunded to an account. So promptly transferred the money to my OD account and also did £3 in backdated PAD's.
Bit down at min cos I can't work due to weather, I work outside, and also totally not motivated to list items on ebay. Really need to get my @rse into gear and get out of this rut.

sorry to hear about you being on a downer, it gets to us all. I get it mid month, whilst i'm waiting for payday and can't make more overpayments until i'm paid again. Also it does get on top of us all sometimes. but all you have to do is come on here and see how you've improved since your first day here and how far others have come which shows you what you can achieve.
Keep going DBF0 -
I know what you mean about the downer days, it seems like the end is way way in the distance at times.
I went through one a few days ago and some lovely people on this forum pointed out that at least I was doing something about it. Imagine the downer days if you were still not tackling it!
I like to think that in the past when I was feeling down I would go out and spend money, which I managed not to this time round :j
It's very strange but when my school was shut last week I had loads of time on my hands and did very little int eh way of putting things on ebay etc.
Hope you are feeling better tomorrowNSD -5/20

Hi,
Thanks Guys. Sazzle I love your comment about being off and doing very little. I've had a week more off work than expected and I've done nothing.
I've gone onto the comparison web sites and have sorted out 4 old mobile phones and am sending these off today. All money straight into HBOS.
I would like to hope to have my HBOS OD down to £3600 by end of mth. But I know that Feb and mar are going to be hard.
Lemon Tree I loved your comment about the middle of the month being your downer period. I sort of feel helpless.
Anyway I'm off to make 2 PAD as I didn't do one yesterday and also list a few more items on ebay.
Till tmmw.
Thanks again.

Hi,
have done absolutely no PAD's since I was last here, I will correct this stroke of lazyness on my part and get it done tonight. I will also start my self assessment tonight!
I have listed loads of items on ebay and sold 8 of them. Made a few costly mistakes along the way. Listing items in the gallery for 95p and then only selling it for £2. Yip, not very clever. But all in all I have made £122.64, so pleased with that. Would have been a few pounds more but I messed up the auctions as I've mentioned. This £122.64 is after all postage and packaging and listing costs have been taken off.
I also have other items listed and they look as though they will bring me in about £300, so very pleased.
Went ahead and bought a bag that is sold out in Primark. Listed it on ebay and sure as shooting, no watchers. So when auction ends I'm bring it back and getting my money back!
Have some more items to list on ebay so I'll get that done. I'm afraid to use Turbo lister as I reckon ebay have a charge stung in there.
I listed an expensive item as buy it now and auction format. What a fool, as soon as the first bid starts they remove the buy it now feature. Contacted ebay about the buy it now listing fee and possibly them trading unfairly, (which I think they are) so I'll either get the money back, or have my account suspended.
Didn't work today as the weather is appaling, and it's quiet at the min, so it would probably cost me more to work that i'd make so i'm not too unhappy about it.
Back at work tmmw, and the lads I work with tmmw are good craic so I'm looking forward to it.
Decided on Monday I am going to:
Drastically reduce the amount of coke I drink
have 2 or 3 NSD's a week
Think that's all for today.
Be good, MSE friends.

Hey Planning_ahead,
Thanks for your support, it means a lot. Ebay is addictive isn't it? Don't worry too much about nothing moving on your listings, it sometimes happens at the last min!

This is the wibbly bums thread - we are trying to lose lbs along with £s off our debt and keep each other company along the way - it only just started this week which is my justification for still have a big fat zero against the 206.
Basically I am 206lbs:eek: and the next figure is how much I have (or as in the case so far, haven't) lostNR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

Hey thank you,
I'll have a look into it asap.
I sent in my old mobile phones and have been told that I'm being sent a cheque for £96, plus I have another cheque coming to me of £35!!
I've ended my listing on the primark bags as they aren't selling and I'd rather have the money back in my account and I also bought a cardi when I bought the bags, so I'm off to primark to get a refund.
Don't know when to transfer the money from my paypal account as I'm afraid that I'll spend it.
Plus I had this notion that i was going to remove my OD with HBOS. Thinking about this the other day, I'd rather have the OD in placed as I'm not going to get credit for another 6 yrs and if I pay it off i'll have it for emergencies, especially if I freeze the card in a bowl of water in the freezer.
Right off to Primani.
