awwwh that mini bag is cute!!
managed to take pics of the purse/mobile phone holder will try and upload it in the morning, I am on a double shift today and heading out to work again in a few mins.I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j0 -
I have not had much success with my first attempt with the lamifix. But I dont think its its fault. Mine. First was trying to get it through too small a turn around gap, inside outside bit. The second was having the wrong threads in the machine and it was a nightmare.
Try again tomorrow with somethingelse I think.
I need a teflon foot too!
My machine is really old, the feet are basic, some plastic too.
I have some special buttons on order, otherwise I would ahve finished the wallets. But not thrilled with them. I will put them away until I get the buttons. Then look at them again. Sometimes I feel better about things later then I do at the time of making. Then again...When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hart - I love the little bag. I must get round to downloading the Amelie pattern.
I downloaded a pattern to do a star within a star quilt block today. The finished size is 24 x 24. I think I am going to do this as the middle of my quilt. Will have a look and see if it will work.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I want it to be special as it's going to be mine :rotfl:
Oh and work is as bad as I thought it would beI think the saved most of the cleaning for me as Im b****ed if I could see where they cleaned, it's a play center and the state of the highchairs I wouldn't put a pig in it let alone a baby
Oh well Im back at work now :rotfl:so will be too tired to sew in the wk hence the books :rotfl:

Not had time for any sewing recently as been busy decorating. I'm just painting up my kitchen now and will be able to make my blinds on Monday hopefully. Just popped in to confess that I've just ordered the hemming foot that you got irishgirl, should save me some burned fingers
.
Lovely makes everyone, shall try to pop in later for some more inspiration.

Hi All,
Not posted for a while as I've been concentrating on knitting.
I am very interested to see that someone has bought a Gathering Foot for their machine.
How does this work please?
I assume that you have to greatly adjust the tension, but what does the foot actually do?
Just considering whether it is worth me buying one.Jack of all trades ... Master of none
