The rest of my fabric arrived today so I have to start making up my sashing blocks now. I haven't sewed together the other ones yet :o. DS had a rugby tournament today which we were allowed to go and watch so I went to watch him instead of doing boring stuff. I am going to get the machine going again now :o hopefully I'll get them finished tonight :)

That is fabulous pennib. I have just started cutting out some fabric to make a "sorting Hat" outfit for my grandson. He is 5 and next Saturday is the local gala day, this years theme is Harry Potter. I suggested making the hat oversized so it will be an outfit, seen a similar hat online. It will come to his knees and the side of the hat will have holes for his arms to come out and a hole for his face, might cover that with some brown netting so he can see through it but still get fresh air. There will be a school float so he will join with that. Other schools etc have floats. He loves fancy dress and is always game for a go of anything :)

    pennib lovely pic as usual,

Had a good day ... I went in to the shop where I got the rock fabric to get 9 metres to make three more dresses ...the guy goes to me "I like you, you seem a decent lady" and gave me 25 metres of the rock fabric at £2.00 a metre!!:j:j:j

i was floored and said thank you sooo much! and skipped out of the shop on a high clutching the 25 metres roll! and he said I made his day cos my face lit up but he made mine too!!!:rotfl:
I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j
