I made mine when I did my patchwork quilts and I have just brought a bias binder maker. A great little tool you pull a strip of fabric through while you iron it :D

I used this blog for help http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/binding-tutorial.html
I have pics of my quilts on my home page if you want to look :D
The blue and white one was the 1st one I had ever done :D Its still on my bed too :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Hello,

I hope this is the right place to post-feel free to kick me out if it's not!
I'm wanting to take up sewing to have a go at customising (& maybe making) clothes/blankets etc for my little boy. I would like a basic but decent machine, can anyone point me in the right direction of one?
    Many thanks

I have spent the night drawing up ideas for my new sewing travel bag :) I have set myself the epic task of designing and making a huge organised bag with lots of pockets by the 7th of June when I can put it to use. It is frustrating already! Oh and I forgot to mention in this time I am also supposed to be decorating two rooms. AHH!

beachlou I would completely recommend these people they were fabulous http://www.sewingmachines.co.uk/
I have a Janome 2200XT and so far I cannot fault it!

I really want a bias tape maker they look great :) No more spending for me though I have been very naughty recently

Jenny thanks for the tip about tesco clubcard points I only have £6 worth at the moment we may have to shop at tesco again for a few weeks lol
