There are a few things I'd change next time simply because I didn't pay much attention while doing it (my mind is elsewhere), I did a hem between hood and towle body when I could have just sewn the twoel body onto the towel and then wouldnt have been left with a hem at her neck. But mleh, its good enough for a trial. I also cut arm holes but not very neatly. Very easy to do if you are looking for a poolside cover up for your little one. Plus its a lot cheaper than ponchos and far cuter.

That looks just what I could do with with! Fab idea. Towelling fabric? Where could I get that from?

wow , loving all the makes and ideas. some of the bags are just beautiful. loving the pink sequin one.

I've done so much crafting. i will post some pics as soon as i get a chance. i'm hating hubby working nights, but i'm getting so much done to pass the time.

tonights job is a heart felt hangers for my dd room. building work starts on friday and to help keep my sanity as i know there will be alot of mess i'm throwing myself into makign some bits for her.

I would use an old towel or perhaps buy a cheaper one as they tend to be a bit thinner and prob cheaper than buying toweling

I have seen a simple drawstring bag someone made using a micro towel for the lining Ideal for swim bags
