Sometimes its nice just to get a bit of space - even if its only for a few months. Enjoy your time sewing0 -
Been looking at Mr Argos, and they have a sewing machine on half price, with £10 off sewing magazine as well.
If anyone is interested.
Seems to have basic things, although maybe not for quilters.

Bored, and fed up, feeling so unwell, an that means left arm/neck not allowing me to sew. Even had to type with one finger! For a touch typist thats tough going.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

and this no sewing is driving me nuts too
Clairehope you feel better soon too, aint we a bunch of poorly sewers lol
The machine looks great for beginners, I started with one like it and it did what I wanted for the 1st year but OH treated me to a Brother one at xmas that does a load of embroidery stitches too (not that Ive had time to try all of them)
My new quilting ruler came today, it allows you to cut accurate diamond shapes. I did toy with buying a triangle one but maybe next time as the one I brought was cheaperand I want to do more star pattern quilts (as soon as I can).

The only difference will be they will be smaller, if they are of a symetrical shape. But if not, thats where the difficulty will come I am sure. Not that i have sewn a quilt in many many a year, and that was by hand! But as a pattern cutter, of quite a few years, thats where the problems are, if your not consistant in the seam allowances.
Happy sewing all.
Just back from the doctors. After nearly an hour with the doctor.! Changing my medication back to what it was before, see If I am better for a bit. But not allowed to stay on such a high dose for long! Back to physio as well. !When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
