Hart, when you have finished sorting out yours, you dont fancy sorting out mine do you!!! I dont know where to begin, and have so much stuff Its in every room practically. How did I amass so much in such a short time? Heaven knows. Oh, yes, Ebay!!! Eek
Today Is supposed to be a sewing day, but if you see my todo list you may forgive me for not necessarily getting around to it. We will see. Already running late. Should be out the door by now for nursery.

Thanks everyone... i am on a high cos someone loved that rock dress as much as I did!

Kaz I used under 3 metres of the fabric but bought 6 metres ! loved the fabric when i saw it! i also got the tattoo fabric and made glasses case right away when i got home, i might make another one and put it on ebay again along with ideas I had when I bought the material, makeup cases etc

I put it on ebay as it was free listing the weekend before last, the night I wore it, everyone loved it (it was a Rock themed party for us aging rockers) when I was waiting for a taxi outside two young girls came up to me and asked me where I got my dress and went on about how they want one like it!

Just hope whoever bought it like it, all edging is overlocked and does not look handmade.

Hart I actually gasped when I saw this fabric in the shop, it was the rock chick in me :rotfl:
But at almost 50 years young I could hardly wear it again and I have 3 daughters who hate rock music :(

happy sewing everyone and have fun sorting out your stash hart. I am hoping to make another dress today with the music notes if i ever get this living room sorted
I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

irishgirl :D i think because I have always been a soul girl Ive not seen the fabric the same way you have but seeing it made in to something brings in to life :D and there are a LOT of rock lovers out there (one of the girls at work springs to mind) and make-up bags made with the fabric would be great :D
Mooloo :D Im like you :o ebay is my downfall too in fact my watch list is 15 pages long and Im watching fabric and a quilting ruler :rotfl: nothing else :o I sell things then buy more fabric instead of using what I have 1st :o
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Irishgirl - well done on selling your dress, what a fab amount!! Can buy lots with that.

Hart - hope your hand is on the mend, I had to have operations on my arm and shoulder a few years back and it was terrible not being able to sew until they were better again.

I have managed to get two cushions finished for my shop, just need time to take some nice photos and get it all sorted out. Seems like a lot of work to do to get it all going though and cant get motivated. Any of you who sell on Folksy, how do you get a nice photo? I have cushions, and a couple of bags and some other bits and pieces. Was thinking of taking them out in the garden on the table to do as might be better light but dont want the colours to be drained.

ebay is my downfall too... i click on bid and buy it now too easily!! i really want to treat myself to a large 36 x 24 cutting mat, but I need to sell more things to justify spending that much on a mat!

I have just posted the jewellery which I made to go along with the dress on my blog
