Hi I'm a lurker on here, loving all your makes. You are all very clever:)

hmo I love your storage caddies, think I might just be able to manage something like that, can I ask where you got the pattern from please or is it something you made up?

Opps! just noticed you mentioned they were in sew hip, is that a magazine?

Hi mitzliz :D and welcome :D
The Sew Hip mag is great for levels of sewing and has lots of great items to make :D
There is tutorials on here for the tubs too if you can't get a mag (but well worth getting)

I've decided that I like 'Sew' better than 'Sew Hip'.

I have a subscription to Sew. I enjoy it too! Mind you when i used to sew a lot I used to get Burda. Back in the day when it was still written in German! Which had an english suppliment in the middle. Mind you sometimes it was the german addition. I even have it in Portuguese as I bought a copy of one on Maternity clothes when I was on holiday out there! Its around here somewhere. Then so is a lot of stuff!
Hopefully we will have the start of a work room later today!.:D

i love making home decor projects so when i saw these storage caddies in sew hip i knew i had to make some.

ive cut three out and just made this first one, they are a good size, app 10 inch high if you dont fold over the top by about 7 inch wide and 5 inch deep.

will have to try and make the others tomorrow.

wow i love them, what a fab idea. at first i thought they would be brill in a pink polka dot fabric for my dd bedroom, then i thought oh also i could make some nice ones for the babies nursery to put on the shelfs then i thought well while i'm doing some, a couple in a dinosaur fabric would be fab for the boys bedroom with some cars in for their garage.

i can see how these little box/bags could easily suit any room and get addictive. i love them

Well this afternoon/evening I have made a walking stick cover for my friend Molly. It features a cotton printing of her dogs and some Cath Kidston fabrics. I put magnetic clasps on it as well.
The pictures of it all are on my bloggy thing. But I think I might be able to copy a picture to here.

    Hi everyone

I have updated my blog with the third denim quilt. It looks nice but was a pain to make. Any one know of any other ways of making them rag without using the washing machine?

I have also added a photo of the bag I made for my daughter out of her old tshirt.

I need to get to Dunlem Mill one of these days and stock up with some wadding and other bits and pieces as I have plenty of fabrics left but none of the other bits that I use to go with them.

Rufus, the tshirt bag is brilliant!
I've no ideas for making the denim rag, but the quilt does look nice.

Just poping in quick to show my 3rd Amelie bag :D
I love the fabric I have used (cost me a bit off Ebay :o) the lining is Laura Ashley I got 5 meters at a bargain £8.99 :D so it made up for the rose fabric.
