Hehe, didn't think of that, my little dog thinks all soft toys are his lol.
They look nice and easy to make so Im looking forward to getting started.
Oh so many idea's and so little time
I know. would love to win the lottery so I could craft all day but I'd look like a vampire due to the lack of sunlight. :rotfl:
Everything I make has to be fought for with the dog. She is the queen of the house after all :rolleyes:craft craft craft!0 -
Here is a makeup bag I made last night from the Tilda book.
I was supposed to leave a seam allowance and I forgot and just cut around the template, anyhow I gave it to my friend this morning and she was pleased with it, its small enough to fit in her little handbag and big enough to fit her bits in, its about 6 inches across.
I think I will make a few more of these, they didn't take too long and they are quite sweet. You can stand there and agonize........

I get my supplies from here: http://www.venacavadesign.co.uk/ and they sell patterns too. Butterick 4254 is a fairly standard one.
My basic corset is a simpler one but can also be adapted to other styles. My current favourite is a cerise and black one I made last year.
I am going on a leather corset course in february and I'm really excited. I have the skins waiting in the sewing room as I bought them in December to beat the VAT increase!!:D

Thanks stitching! How long do they normally take you to make? I know the first one or two will take a lot longer but as a general rule (love that one btw!)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Oh and do you know how hard it's likely to be to repair busks? I have 2 corsets from Ann Summers where the male part of the connectors have come off but the material is still fine... They might tie me over (bad pun - sorry lol) until I manage to make my own custom jobbieDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
