Im wanting to add a label to say its mine (well I made it) im looking for a ribbon type thing that I can fold over in half and sew into the seam of say a makeup bag for example, so that you can see it from the outisde.... am I making any sense?
Anyhow, do you know where I can buy these reasonable, do any of you add your own labels to your makes?
Not sure what responses you've had to this as I haven't got to the end of this thread yet (taken me all day to get this far! Am loving it!) but I have come across a handy tutorial on making your own labels (from a blog someone posted on here.... totally lost track of which ones I've subscribed to so can't say who suggested it!).
I'm going to give it a go once I've got to the shops tomorrow (with my very very VERY long list of things that I "need"having been fully fired up by all the brill ideas on here!)

If you give it a try, report back on how it goes. Lucy x0 -

The ones online were all very expensive and you had to buy quite a few. Also I was not too sure what type of material to have them on, this way I can pick and choose!

Thats the trouble - I keep finding brilliant things that I just have to make and my list is getting longer and longer.
I see something better than I am currently on with and it takes loads of motivation to finish the current thing and get on the the one I really want to do!
I also have stuff I can't really get my teeth into until I get more supplies/ money to spare on supplies so its quite frustrating. You can stand there and agonize........

I bought this book from amazon before christmas. I made the dragon one afternoon whilst watching a movie, took it to show DH just for the dog to pinch it and run off with it. It's now living on her bed.craft craft craft!0 -
