Talking of ginger things here is Mr.Ginger Nutts made with a cuddly pair of ginger socks...hence his name:D

love the socky monster!! v cute...I have one half done somewhere which I must finish...
Think fabric disaster has been averted as rang the shop and they will post me what they have which is just under what I need will mean that I will need to be a bit imaginative with the backing...possibly do a line of patchwork pieces to make up the missing bit/strip...think I can fix it but was a bit hairy there for a moment!
know what you mean avster about saving bits and bobs...I have a tendency to remember the thread and usually end up deliting bits when Im having a clearout of the lappy! Best way of designing quilt I think is find pattern you like, then fabric you adore and go for it!

Here is the third and final costume - the lion. I only made this one because he really, really wanted to be a lion and has been practising his fierce roar!

Your costumes have been so cool this week, I'm not sure I would be quite so happy about fancy dress every day at pre-school but you are taking it all in your stride! I've had a minor meltdown about EDs space themed dress up this week and that was very straight forward!

I have enjoyed making them so much, much more than anything else I have ever made. Seeing him in them has made it even more lovely. I think I am hooked! What are you doing for the space theme?
