can you tell me how to do this facebook link to folksy please

ive followed the link and chlicked where it says but no where does the folksy tab or anything connected to folksy appear at all.

i am going round in circles.

I did that the first time. Ended up removing it and doing it again, I found you have to like the app efore you can download it then the instuctions are pretty straight forward. But yes I was there for an hour going round in circles, wondering what I had done wrong!

For those looking at how to do it it is a folksy app on facebook, and folksy have instructions on how to do it here http://blog.folksy.com/2010/07/15/facebook-promoting-your-folksy-shop Its the very list one, so down at the bottom, but the tips on the whole page are great when you are just starting out.

Erm I am not too sure just yet, I have had two sales in a week, one I directed from a forum I am a member of, and the other a friend of a friend. I think it is much like any business you need to be promoting yourself. I am currently running a giveaway, and I have signed up to two local designer markets.

I am treating it like a business, but it is all a bit of fun really, so long as I don't lose money I will be happy.

Wow that horse and cowboy pattern looks fab, cant wait to see it.

Thanks for the info about Folksy and Facebook, I will also be looking into this when I get a chance.

I finished making the cushion today, well finished the cover bit. Made a cushion pad to go inside but it turned out too small and doesnt fill the cover so I will make another one tomorrow and make it a couple of inches bigger.

LauraD love the booties and the knitting roll. The cowboy pattern is fab! Reminds me of Woody and Jess from Toy Story:)

Here's a pic of the fabric my friend gave me after her clear-out, after I washed it...smells OK now :D

    Grocerybag001a.jpg

Don't know what to do with the dark woollen fabric, but love the 3x cotton canvas in the botton right corner so I made a grocery bag.

    Grocerybag006.jpg

And I loved it so much I made another 2 :rotfl:

I didn't line them cos they're just for shopping and the fabric is v strong, but I did do a box corner thingy, that stumped the old brain for a while but when you get the hang of it, they're easy!

    Grocerybag007.jpg

I've now got 3 matching grocery bags - ooooh get me!

Still got some fabric left over, but not sure what to do with it.
