thought i would show you all this, the details behind it all are on my blog, but my dd 8 wanted to make a cushion herself with my help, she chose the fabric from my stash and this is the result i think she did great.

And here are some i made from an ikea fleece throw this morning

i could have got 6 ikea cushions from this throw but i wanted to use the scollop edge in the design so i only got 4 but thats all i needed.

and theres enough fabric left to make one more completly plain if needed.

Evening all! Lots of cutting out done but a bit to go - will finish when its light as easier then to see!
love the dress and cusion - hope the recipients love them; what lovely thoughtful gifts! Would love to see piccy of the doll :) ! Dont know about anyone else but i do love a piccy! Will upload piccy of chopped fabric when its chopped! Pootle did you decide what to do about your quilt? I did like the simplicity of the instructions of crazy mom quilts...lots of step by step piccies too!

Hi, Im going to go for something basic to begin with. Ive had a look on crazy mom quilts (great link) and think Im going to try and follow that so I dont confuse myself too much!! x

Avstar, well done on the bags. Love that fabric selection and the pattern.

hmo, they are gorgeous! How did you do the scalloped edges? (havent read your blog yet so apologies if its already on there.)

good on you pootle!! I love the crazy moma quilts too so thank you to whoever linked it!
Love the bags and cusions! Dont know how you both whip them up so quickly, would take me all day!
At last I can report sewing progress! The majority of the quilt is now chopped! (piccy attached!) so all I need to do now is to sew them all togeather! I wont have enough for the back so will think on that later! Noticed its the show in August at the NEC so may wait until then...nice to have a day out with memories attached to the fabric iylwim!

well i must be really thick because i cannot see at all how to add folksy to facebook.

i keep getting back to the page that says click on profile and click the + i dont have a + and can not find any other info on the net ive even looked on youtube where there is generally a video for everything, but nothing.

    i am stumped

Hmm, I was wandering in circles myself, so know how frustrating it is!

I deleted it then re installed it and it seemed to work the second time.

The only thing I can think of is that it is not allowed on 'personal' pages and you have to make an 'organisation' page here so you use your personal page to create the organisation page, then you add the app with your personal page, and it will assk where you want it attached to, and you say x page (which will be the organisation page, not your personal on)

I don;t know if that will help or not. sorry

Avstar - lovely bags, I like the way you made the fabrics into stripes, they look very professional

hmo - brilliant cushions, they look better than what you see in the shops

    Rufus xx

Edit to add I have finished my cushion completely now, links to pic xx
