Can someone recommend a make of dressmaking scissors?
My mum has asked for a pair as her trusted ones that have been around since I was a child have finally broken.
She doesn't do a huge amount of dressmaking/craftwork now so doesn't need a hefty great pair but reasonable quality ones so that when she does sew, they are comfortable to use. She has quite small hands.
Thanks7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -

I've had a quick look on amazon and there seem to be 2 possibilities, Fiskars Avanti Dressmaking Scissors or Fiskars Classic Tailors Shears. I assume it's the latter, being the most expensive that are the ones to get?7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
