Try Blooming Felt they have 4mm thick felt which is hard to come by. I've been waiting for some ivory 4mm to come back into stock which this reminded me to check, so make sure you don't order it all before I do!0 -

Oh heck I am gutted - I have been so ill this week with this ruddy flu - havent been on much and then just clicked on the grabbits for any last minute pressies for the kids - just popped on here tonight and saw this - thought oooh oooooh awwwwww heck when I saw I had missed the date - drat but thank you so much as it would have been fantabulous - will keep having a peep at that site now - thanks again hun xxxxxxxx Enjoy your reading xxx0 -
i'm really struggling to keep inspired to finish my patchwork quilt. i love it , and i enjoy doing it. but it is sooooo big it is really awkward now. I wish we didn't have such a big 4 seater sofa. but i am trying to stay positive that it will look gorgeous when done. but i am NEVER making one this big again!!!!!!!!,lol.
Next project is a smaller baby patchwork quilt. for babe to lay on when playing on the floor etc. we have so many babies due or been born recently in our family. if they turn out nice, that should keep me out of mischief for a while,lol.0 -
hard work but by golly it will be so worth it hun - keep going - eye on the prize love - meant to be trying to be encouraging here but I can only try and imagine - it must be like climbing mount everest but just think what it will be like the higher up you climb and you turn back to see how much you have done - good luck sweetheart x0

Sandy2 have you thought about whitework? Maybe that will bring up something on google?
Here is a sewing/painting picture that I've just finished, really enjoyed making it. The paper is almost like a soft quilting fabric after it was stitched on. More pictures on how it was made up on me homepage. Piccy looks a bit squint but its not like that in real life!

i've tackled the Puppy Cushion again, i decided i would not be defeated. Thanks Mags!
i'm really quite pleased with myself - after failing to make a successful-enough friendship star quilt block i nearly gave up, but yesterday i perseverd and now have 2! i was on a roll and somehow tackled drawing applique pieces by hand from a too small pattern sheet. Then i did all the backgrounds and machine embroidered on the largest applique piece! :j Soo, this means all i have to do is hand applique some shapes and turn it into a cushion and i'll hopefully do that in time for xmas for my fiance.:)
damni1 - ditto! i'm gutted as that would have been nice for me and my mum. oh well.
jcr16 - keep going girl! nearly there! :TRelax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0
