I have started using my sewing machine again... and i am in the middle of making some draught excluder rolls... I am using the inners of an old duvet, but as i am stuffing the draught excluder, its getting a 'bumpy' look was just wondering if there was a way of filling it without getting the bumps:rotfl:
I am using an old wool blanket
if the stuffing your using is tightly compact.. break it up and pull apart ...and dont try to pack too much at one go..
hope it helps0 -
Last minute stocking fillers. I'd like some quick ideas for lavender bags. Shapes and filling, how much do you add to each bag; do you use wading too?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Try Blooming Felt they have 4mm thick felt which is hard to come by. I've been waiting for some ivory 4mm to come back into stock which this reminded me to check, so make sure you don't order it all before I do!
thank you very much yeap found it xx merry christmas:xmassmile:xmassmile0 -

Today I made 2 cute doggie lavender bags to be hung up in a wardrobe, one for each daughter, I used an old shirt, some contrasting thread, a little ribbon, old button and a tiny amount of wadding, Ill try to put a pic up later.Member 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
