  • Hiya everyone! I am hoping you will be able to help me. I am looking to buy a couple of fat quarters of fabric to hang in frames in my kitchen until i have a flash of inspiration and decide what to photograph for there instead. The wall looks bare and i just need to get something up.

I've browsed ebay for hours and found nothing, but after that i am stuck for where to look! The fabric needs to be "kitcheny" enough and the colours need to match the decor - green & plum. It also needs to not look out o place near the two canvas pitures i have up near the door.

If i share a photo of the kitchen do you reckon you would be able to help me? The two frames will hang on the big plum coloured wall.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Its brilliant (and half price on Amazon ;))

Cuddles, I had a sewing tutorial at my local sewing machine shop yesterday and they said to buy 505 glue if temporarily attaching embroidery stabiliser to applique pieces. I have cheap stuff from poundshop and they told me not to use it as it would make the applique sit differently before I sewed it. I have bought that wondaweb/vilene type stuff thats double sided which works really well. Its like interfacing but fuseable on both sides. They recommended that too.

Thanks Pootle - wondered if it would be OK - now I know ;)

Don't, you will seriously spend hours drooling over the lucious fabrics on there. I often window shop there and can spend ages just staring...... I've never managed to buy any fabric from there as its all too beautiful to choose. I kinda feel mean liking one fabric over another in case it get upset!!!!!!:p:p:p:p:p:p

I love Fabric Rehab I could live there!
