23rd Spiral, I already have a teflon foot and whilst its better, its still a nightmare using oilcloth. I find pvc ok but proper oilcloth is awful (and I have about 2 metres of the damn stuff left!!)
Thanks for comments re quilting. I think Ill maybe try squares first and move on from there. I quite fancy having something to do whilst watching telly which is why Id considered hexies but I dont think I would have the patience to make 600 of them!!0 -

The Friendship quilt I did is pretty forgiving for a newbie, actually so is the Pandoras box. If you want to do a traditional block quilt however, don't waste your time cutting out individual squares - sew strips together & then cut. I have a tutorial somewhere....0 -
