I suggest you have a look and even follow her blog, LOADS of great ideas! Almost wish I had seen it earlier and got myself organised and made myself some money to recover the costs of all my hobbying over the years!
  • Hi ladies can anyone point me in the direction of patterns for doll clothes. my grandaughter who's deaf has to have a doll to help her speech and language and it needs lots of different outfits so she can dress it like she dresses herself for school, hospital visits etc , bed, bath, outdoors etc . she has an 11 inch and a 16 inch baby doll . thank you .

  • There are some here.

I put dolls clothes in the search box and it brought up a list of all the patterns.

If you are not in a hurry, if you buy the sew direct magazine there will be a coupon in the back for buy one get one free on the patterns. Doing it that way you have to send for them by post though.

I am sure thee are also free patterns available and hopefully someone else will point you in the right direction for those.

  • Sorry Craftgranny. I have just re-read my post and the name of the magazine is Sew Today not sew direct. Larger branches of WH Smiths sell it or you can subscribe to it which gives you a monthly magazine and buy one get one free online as well as by post.

    Hi Ladies,

I've had a go at making some felt hair clips... ideal for doing while sitting on the sofa watching Ugly Betty!

I also made a black one with a Jack Skellington face for my Daughter, which she has gone to school wearing! (not into girly pinks etc.,)

I've written about them on my Blog too!

    Cheers

Hi Ladies, going to have a go at making my first patchwork quilt for new GGD due at christmas. Do I have to use all cotton fabric or could I use poly/cotton. Have seen some lovely bedding sets cheap in Argos that I could cut up, do you think this would be o.k

I have used poly/cotton in my quilts, it's ok but it frays a bit more then cotton so I made the seam allowance a bit larger :D
